Not many know about Paros’ next door neighbor, only accessible by small boat. Only 1200 inhabitants and virtually no cars make this tiny island in the Aegean all the more charming. I was so mesmerized by this quaint place that I missed the last ferry back to Paros. Devastated that I would also miss my ferry to Santorini, I befriended one of the locals who happily took me across the sea in his little motorized dinghy. I could offer you the definition of Greek hospitality or simply tell you this story.
We walked from Thíra to Oía in Santorini today. The hike was suppose to be 3-4 hours, but we took our time so it was closer to 6 hours for us. The views were amazing and we can't wait to share the photos with you, but we're so excited to be in Oía before sunset that we had to share it with you immediately!
