If you look closely, you’ll see rifling marks on this bullet. The same bullet that decided to be gender-fluid in my gun today. “Today I’m not a bullet. I think I’d rather be a squib”. .
This little fella managed to zero a stage in the rain for me today. Gun went off as usual with the same open gun loudness, but the next round was half-way out of battery. I racked that one out only to have the next round do the same thing.

This is my first ever squib, and it had me rattled for the rest of the match. This is a new powder/load combo for me, so I was meticulous when I loaded them. I even mic’d each round right after seating the bullet. .
I have no idea what would have caused it, but I’m exceptionally grateful that no one was hurt. .
