Legs kicked my butt today, and the ONE TIME I forget a sport bra to workout at the office, is also the ONE TIME my coworkers also decide to use the gym over lunch!
And I had like 15 Christmas cookies for breakfast so you could say I’m really killin it today. 🎄

I know I definitely am and yet, I’m 15 weeks out from my first marathon so there’s no slacking allowed!

My plan in 2019 is to try at least one new way to move each month! And to do it with friends! Because everything is better with friends 👯♀️

2.) 30 second plank
3.) 15 oblique dips per side
4.) 15 leg raises
5.) 20 bridges (try a variation in this video!)
Repeat for 2-3 rounds with 30-60 second breaks between rounds!

- Money You Want Vs. Money You Need-
What the heck is the difference? Don't we all need and want the same money? Well, not exactly.
Money you need is money you earned because you had to, not because you wanted to. This is money you earned by doing a job you hate, working at a place you probably dont love and taking orders from someone else.
“I’m doing this job to pay the bills” type of gig. There is usually a lot of negative energy associated with this money because, well, you didn't really enjoy the process of making it. Not ideal, right?
Money you WANT is money you earned doing something you love, something that gets you fired up and something you're passionate about. This is money that has a lot of good energy associated with it because, while the money is pretty cool, the WAY you made it was even cooler and more gratifying.
Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having a 9-5 job. Some people love it and that is THEIR perfect, ideal life.
But if you're not one of those people that thrive off 9-5 stability... I want you to be honest with yourself.
Why are you settling for money that you need when you could be making money that you want (and helping people in the process)?
The only reason I included my legs in this is cause my quads look good (plus I was tending so they look even better 🤷🏼♀️) buuuuuuuuttt in other news ya girl had a bomb.com breakup of garlic mushrooms, bbq courgette, turmeric scrambled eggs annnnd a cinnamon and raisin bagel thin with some butter 😍😍 I’ve also had the equivalent of 4 coffees (two big cups) so I’m kinda hype 😂😂🙈🙈 not the best when you’re sitting tryna do some work 😂😂 .
So today is gonna be spent writing a blog post (all about tryna find a routine that works for you), editing my video annnnnd doing some uni work 💪🏻 oh and obvs working out 😂 .

Been enjoying going running outside in the sun lately ☀ Although now I have some wicked tan lines 😂 I've spent the last few days watching lots of cricket, losing a bit of cricket, doing endless packing and trying to find a car to buy! 🚗 So it's been pretty busy! I've still been getting my workouts in though, it just means getting up a bit earlier to make time 💪💦
So yeah... we’re 1/3 of the way thru the month, but you know this week was sorta doozy🤪
I made this on the 1st and then life happened and shhhht it the fan and life reminded me of something that I forgot to put on the list. SLOW THE HECK DOWN!
Tbh if I have learned anything over the course of 2018, it’s been that I need to SLOW DOWN. While the world is going a 100 miles an hour, we miss things, mess up, forget things, lose things... I’ve been trying to do headspace everyday... already missed one day this month, but hey 8 out of 9 is still better than the zero meditations I did in September.
Intentions are meant to inspire us, keep us motivated.
I don’t make these monthly lists to be disappointed if I don’t hit them everyday, no, if anything, I make them to remind me of what I aim for and if I don’t reach it the first month, I carry on the task for the next month.
No one is perfect. We all make mistakes. The important thing is to learn from life’s ups and downs and to keep growing and becoming better versions of our selves.
So tomorrow is Monday! A fresh start as I like to see it. I’ve made my to do list for the day and I’m ready to take on the week! How about you? 🌻
