Today's progress. All siding gone, 95% of the trash out which in all fact was 80% metal which will be recycled. Tomorrow, finish the trash removal and get the dumpster hauled off , take the scrap to the metal pile, come to the shop and work Saturday and I think I'll actually take Sunday off. This thing will be gone by Friday! Hopefully!😆
I recently reached 5k (!!!), so I thought it might be time to say hello to all of you new followers! My name is Dare, and I'm the mind/heart/hands behind Moth & Rust Apparel. I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, and I got my first straight stitch machine when I was ten. My teens were spent designing costumes, mostly influenced by my love of high fantasy literature, video games, and comic books. Suffice to say, those interests are still strongly reflected in my work! I love what I do, and I am deeply grateful to all of you who make my job possible. I believe that handcrafted garments hold tremendous power in how they can make us feel about ourselves, and I strive to make pieces that will make you all feel a tad more magical when you wear them. 🖤 Thank you for being here!
By the way, I'm making a bundle of these hemp fleece shawls with deconstructed details, and they will be available for purchase at @ncfayettevillecomiccon! @antlerproductions and I will be there with all kinds of cool stuff for sale, come say hello!
