Saw a ❄️ icon on the extended weather forecast. No thanks iPhone weather app. 👎Enjoying fall too much this year: planting bulbs, collecting leaves with the little guy and decorating with pumpkins and wreaths like this one on my front door.
Home, after several days away for a wedding. It was truly a great trip! (Aside from a pretty big scare with our plane- I will tell the story in Instastories tonight.) We enjoyed time with our family and friends so much. We loved watching my sister in law and dear friend tie the knot in the most gorgeous of surroundings. The autumn colors & cooler temps of New England were also extremely enjoyable! Coming back to the heat wasn’t my favorite after getting used to sweaters, booties and hot tea in hand, but I do love being home sweet home. Trying to tackle all the things that pile up while away but so enjoying the comforts of home at the same time. How was your week friends? What have you all been up to?

We tend to wish the week away. At least I do. Can’t wait for the weekend, but then it flies by, and it’s Monday again. Why is our mindset that only the weekends are good? Tv? Movies? Social media? They tend to lead us into thinking that, and I’m guilty of believing it.
But if you only live for the weekend, those two days that start with “S”, think of those 5 days your missing out on? Add those up over your lifetime and it makes up more of your life than those other two combined! Why are we wasting and complaining about the days that make up most of our lives? I’m pretty sure a Tuesday could be pretty fabulous if we tried a bit harder. We rush through the week with blinders on, weekend in site, just gotta get to Friday. Am I right?
As I looked back at just the month of October, it’s half way over and my bucket list is still not checked off. Why? Because I keep waiting for the weekend to do all my fun things. But when the weekend arrives, it’s rainy, we end up with something we “have” to do, and my best laid plans don’t happen. So I go to wishing the next five days away again. Why do we do this? Starting now, I plan to utilize everyday. S’mores and fire pit fun on Monday? ✔️ Hammock nap on Tuesday? ✔️ Cookie baking on a Wednesday night? ✔️Pumpkin picking on a Thursday, you betcha!✔️ Sounds kinda fun right?! .
Will you join me in doing this? Making weekday memories can be just as fun... maybe even better!?Let’s prove it! •I tagged a few friends who I thought might agree!! Feel free to share the image and tag me if ya do!! •
