Currently snuggled up in my chair editing. It is actually my only Saturday this month where I don't have a wedding to shoot. It certainly came as a big surprise to me that November would be a busy wedding month. You never know what kind of opportunities the Lord will provide you with and when. 📆
Also, can I just say that this month's weddings have been BEAUTIFUL in every way!! For example, this image of a precious love story!! ⬆️ 📝 I have found such great joy in capturing my November weddings! I am not even bothered by the cold temps while shooting. Which is a small miracle in itself! ✨
Have you ever asked yourself if you're doing too much? 🤔 I get it, having absolute control over a situation is the only things we trust; however, if you consistently find yourself stressed, then you might be doing too much. Yes, this goes out to my folks that are wedding planning and future planning.👰 The things you do in life should bring you joy! So, if you find that you are indeed doing to much, then it might be wise to delegate some of the work to a trusted close friend or family member. -----
This is where the importance of hiring a professional can come in! It's important to build a team that you can trust on your special day to execute your vision. That way, you're able to be present and enjoy the moment. I am always an open resource, so feel free to DM me with any questions you may have! 🤗
It’s been a while insta peeps✌🏻 Life has been so hectic with house renovations, editing wedding films + photos, and just simply living life. November seems to be flying by, we can’t believe thanksgiving is this coming week 🦃
While Segovia Itself is a beautiful city dripping with history, it isn't all that the city and Province have to offer. Nestled in the nearby forested hills of Sierra de Guadarrama is the small town of San Ildenfenso.
The town itself is small enough, but contains an absolute wonder for those of you interested in Fine Art; the unbelievable Royal Palace of la Granja de San Ildefonso.
My wife @letteringbygrg and I went of a roadtrip there for her birthday weekend and enjoyed every second of it! The palace itself was originally modeled on Versailles - these guys knew exactly what Luxury and Fine art meant!
Among the many beautiful sights we seen there, was this rather curious statue of 2 boys.
Possibly brothers, one lifts a blindfold from the others eyes, while a Griffin rests between them. Its a powerful image - and is especially so striking considering there is very little color, or aging on the statues.
The grounds themselves are fantastic and would make an epic location for a couple shoot ;) Double tap if you've been here or if it's on your todo list!
