#OceanJourney This week I saw an #octopus hiding under a rock in the reef near my house. The eyes look a little like a cat's eyes, and were white with a black vertical stripe for the pupils. The octopus looked like a stingray with its tentacles wrapped behind its head. I went on an #adventure to a place where I saw a giant red cuttlefish many years ago, and imagined all the friends that an octopus might make along their ocean journeys. 📸 @musashi671 captured an octopus and a #seaturtle tentatively getting to know each other.
Um cantinho deserto pra chamar de meu! ♡

‘The flare..’ if you’re an ocean goer, you know these little beauties but there’s a lot of people that don’t know anything about them.. Flares don’t have the power of slabs but they have an incredibly beautiful display of splayed water that happens when two opposing forces collide, they look especially amazing in golden light.⠀

A few weeks ago someone contacted me asking for a print of this shot taken at Cloudbreak in May. I've had requests for prints before but I've had to say no because I wasn't able to provide that service where I was in Fiji. However, this was for a special occasion so I managed to find somewhere that would print this on glass and send it to her house. I just hoped it would be good quality. It arrived just in time for their wedding anniversary and it looks great. It's such a nice feeling that someone has my work on their wall! I'm aiming to find an easier way to produce high quality prints very soon!
On the note of surf photography, I just posted a blog about how to improve your surf photography if you'd like to check it out, the link is in my bio. .
Sand, Water, Rock
Three ingredients which make some of the best beaches.
A road trip was in motion but due to the weather conditions I will have to post this throwback. 🙌🏻
