There are many success tips and strategies out there for creating your best life. These are two that I’ve found have helped me in my life: loving yourself unconditionally and setting high expectations for yourself.
It’s important to love the life you have right now. You’re still going to be you tomorrow, next week and next year. More stuff, more money or more accomplishments won’t make you love yourself more.
Learn to love everything about yourself. Love your flaws, weaknesses and shortcomings. Love the things that you do well. You must love yourself today if you are going to love yourself in the future.
I’ve learned to love myself over the years. I love everything about myself. It has been a process but it’s something that has greatly improved my quality of life. I challenge you to do the same!
It’s also important to set high expectations for yourself. Your expectations will stretch you to reach your potential. If you don’t set high expectations for yourself nobody will.
I am happiest in my life when I am progressing. I think this is the same with most people. When we work towards are goals we feel fulfilled. Set expectations that push you outside of your comfort zone.
Your best life is outside of your comfort zone. I know I’m not happy when I live inside my comfort zone. Accomplishment happen when we push ourselves to do things we are afraid to do. I like to do something new and challenging every week.
If you want to create the foundation for your best life then work on these two things. Start to love yourself unconditionally, and set high expectations for yourself!
💥 YANKEES WIN 9-2! 💥
Magic number down to three! Sevy tosses a quality performance while the bats explode for a 7-run third.
Sevy really had one bad inning, but he did have a very encouraging performance overall. His line: 5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 K. His control was a bit off, evidenced by his high pitch count and 3 walks. However, his ability to induce swings and misses (17 tonight!!!) is very encouraging. In his previous seven outings, Sevy has toned down the home runs allowed, improved the strikeout rate, and simply seems to be back on track. Great signs.
The bats were on fire tonight, and 7 of those runs scored in the third inning. Hech started it off with a line drive solo homer (6) just over the LF fence. With Gardner on third following a triple, Luke Voit came to the plate a few batters later and drilled a ground-rule double to make it 2-0. Neil Walker added a bases loaded walk, while Miggy was retired on a sacrifice fly to make it 4-0. El Gary capped off the inning with a 3-run blast to left. He needed that as much as anyone. Gary would add an 8th Yankee run with an RBI single in the 5th. Andújar padded his XBH total (67) with a solo shot (26) in the ninth.
The Yanks mixed and matched with second tier guys to close it out on the relief end. Keep an eye on Stephen Tarpley, who is a rookie southpaw who has impressed since a poor debut with some stellar outings.
The lines on the bullpen:
Kahnle: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K
Tarpley: 0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, K
Germán: 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
Another big win! Each one makes it increasingly likely that the WC game will be in the Bronx. Keep at it! Masa on the bump tomorrow! #LetsGoYankees
