I feel utterly blessed that this is what my life has become & that I am able to be a part of amazing events like SMADCON.
The past 72 hours have been a complete whirlwind of an experience... (one that I will never forget) This has further solidified my passion for speaking but more so for connecting with incredible human beings striving to accomplish their dreams EVERY SINGLE DAY!
To all who worked their asses off to make this happen I am eternally grateful ❤️🙏🏻
Charleston, SC I will be back very soon...
We have lots of work to do!
During the long night of travel coming back last night it was highly emotional because oftentimes we fail to connect with people in real ways but that’s the only way connections happened for me.. real, meaningful and life-lasting & life-changing.
There will be a vlog coming in the next couple of days so please be on the lookout for that.
day 59 of #100daysofandnotor: “i talk about doing stuff AND i do stuff.”
some say there are two types of people: people who do stuff and people who talk about doing stuff. and the implication is always that the latter group is worse, because they’re not acting. i’m deeply both. i talk about doing a lot of things, unable to bring myself to actually DO anything. i talk about wanting to start my own business, but i’m often too scared to take even the first step. i talked a lot about focusing on art & illustration, but earlier this year i actually did *do* stuff to move forward — like quitting my job! sometimes talking about stuff is how you figure out if you even want to do the stuff to begin with.

“I’ve learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I’ve learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you’ll miss them when they’re gone from your life. I’ve learned that making a ‘living’ is not the same thing as making a ‘life.’ I’ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. I’ve learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one. I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn. I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will always remember how they felt in your presence.”
