Once upon a time I obsessed over a new laptop or desktop computer - how fast? How much memory? What size hard drive? These issues just don't matter now. For most business people, unless you're a gamer, a Netflix addict or a prolific downloader of porn, a low level device, a Chromebook, even a phone is enough to do what we need to do.
Those of you who know me or who have been following me for a while know that afternoon/night workouts are NOT my jam! This morning I woke up feeling pretty crappy, on top of a rough night with our girls (hello 4 month sleep regression and early toddler wake up). During their nap time, I took a 2 hour nap rather than working out. I made peace with myself that that’s what I needed. However, after dinner I snuck in a moment on IG and saw @marijacrosson post that she was getting her workout in. #inspiration 💕 So, after putting our littlest one down, I had 30 minutes before I needed to put our toddler down. Instead of changing into my pajamas (which I wanted to do so badly), I put my workout clothes on and pushed play. So many reasons why I didn’t want to but so many reasons why I needed to ... #goals 💪 I continue to be so grateful for these home workouts during this season of life and the group of supportive women who show up everyday and make their health and wellness a priority! All the more motivation for me to show up, too!! .
How do you show up for yourself?
Just wanted to share my thought on going to a concert on my own 👱♀️
First of all, I loved every minute of it but if I'm being honest I think that there is something special when you share this moment with someone else. When you sing the lyrics together and feel all different kind of emotions. .
But you dont always have that someone with you and it is okay. Don't stop yourself of doing something just because you are on your own. .
The overall feeling of it is that being able to do things on your own is great but sometimes sharing it make it even more special. 🌟
Sometimes you want pizza, and sometimes you need a source of calories, it's a glorious day when they coincide. Random inspiration to hit "Murph" again with @coombe.mark and @allysianewton and six minute better than earlier in the year. 😀 #getoutside#dothings#yay#exercise
