|| ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT ||
🙌🏼 To say this woman has made me proud as her Strength Coach would be a massive understatement. To watch her grow into the athlete she is today is an absolute testament to her work ethic and attitude over these last 10 months
✅ Amy set herself a goal of stepping in the ring for her first amateur fight at the start of the year. Last weekend she ticked that box! She showcased technical skill, strength, power, composure, endurance... I could go on but that’s not the point. The point is that she committed 100% and worked her fucking arse off for 10 months to develop all of these skills
💥 Like everyone else, Amy set herself a BIG goal to achieve. But what sets her apart from the rest is that she had a massive belief. She believed not only in the coaches she had chosen to help her, but more importantly she believed in herself to succeed! I’ve pushed her to the breaking point but she never let that define her outcome. She would come back better and stronger to prove a point. She realised that it was part of the process and it would make her mentally and physically stronger
🥇 For me personally, this process has helped me grow into a much better coach. I’ve learnt a lot about myself and Amy. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone on numerous occasions, but like Amy, I believed in my own abilities to help her succeed. I did everything I possibly could to make her physically superior to anyone she would come up against!
👏🏼 Finally, massive shout out to @chris_nextgenfitnessfactory Amy’s boxing coach. Well done on an incredible job mate. The 3 of us make a pretty good team!!

What I Wear to a New Doctors Appointment-My OOTD
I wear comfy sweatpants in muted colors so I don't look too happy while being in pain otherwise my pain won't be taken seriously. I also wear a tank top with a sports bra that semi-matches to show that I am not a total slob. I cant look too sloppy or the doctor will think I am drug-seeking (which for the record, I am not). I pull my hair up in a messy bun and use the clips to tame my frizzy hair.
All of this just so I can get the help I need. I spend more time picking out outfits for doctors appointments than I do for any other occasion. All this hassle is worth it when you find amazing doctors. I am blessed to have my medical Dream Team
