A few days ago, amongst all the blue pea flowers, a white one bloomed for us for the first time! What a pleasant surprise!🌿
Did you know? We pluck these blue pea flowers every morning when they bloom and we take them all (but also try to leave some for the bees 🐝and butterflies🦋) and the very next morning they’ll be in full bloom again! These blue pea flowers have always been a plant that grows in the wild, like weed, they’re very resilient and can thrive in almost any condition. Hence, they have very strong healing powers and contain lots of antioxidants and vitamin C! We make a cup of blue pea flower tea every morning to strengthen our immunity! We also put them in our smoothie bowls and they can also be used as natural dye for Nasi Lemak rice and traditional desserts!
PM us if you’d like to buy naturally grown Kampung Blue pea flowers from us! It’s $5.90 for a pack of approx 100 flowers! ❌Pesticide ❌chemicals ✅naturally sun dried
A woman’s cycle is a delicate dance between your pituitary gland and ovaries as they regulate the other’s activity and the production of the female hormones.
Symptoms such as irregular periods, bloating, breast swelling and tenderness, headaches, mood swings, hair loss, unexplained weight gain/loss, foggy thinking, fatigue and PMS symptoms are all indicators of hormone misbalance.
These imbalances have become more common thanks to our lovely western lifestyle filled with stress, poor diet, medications and environmental toxins.
Although we’d all love to run away to a topical paradise free from stress and loaded with fresh, organic produce, thats obviously not a suitable solution.
Therefore, here’s a few (manageable) tips to help rebalance your hormones
1️⃣ Did you know oestrogen is not just produced by your ovaries but also by your stored fat tissue?! Controlling your weight into the healthy range can make a world of difference if you are suffering with any of the above symptoms.
2️⃣ Reduce stress - learn how to say no to excessive demands on your time. While your body is under stress, your hormone production hits the back burner. Support your natural hormone rhythm by reducing stress levels. Doesn’t this photo by @estorahealth make you feel instantly relaxed?
3️⃣ Get enough fibre through a whole food based diet - hormones are excreted by the bowel so regular visits to the toilet reduce hormone reabsorption.

🍤 Finally went through all the cooked shrimp (consequence of a @costco haul 😂) Mixed it with mango pico de gallo, #glutenfree crab 🦀 meat and served over lettuce leaves.
Cooked seafood stays fresh in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. Make sure your refrigerator registers at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, and place the fish in the lowest section of the fridge, where temperatures are coldest.
Thanks @perfectearthfoods for the free sample of your delish gluten free chia pasta! For date night my boo and I had some fun in the kitchen and made shrimp phad Thai with these yummy noodles! Love experimenting with new recipes!
Finally we got to start seeding our new plot! We don’t have fancy seeders (yet) and sometimes we don’t have straight lines but what counts is that our food is clean, good, and all locally sold. A huge accomplishment today!
