Ace-1 Warriors Emphatic Words of Encouragement.
New YouTube video up. Words of encouragement. Im Shaking the rust off getting a bit better. Before I had to do multiple takes. These are just one take daddies in the car reflecting on my life before I hit the gym.
ONE voice //
Jeremiah was thrown into a cistern for speaking the Word of the Lord. He was dedicated to speaking what God told him no matter what. The people were unhappy to hear that disaster was coming because of their unfaithfulness.
So the officials decided he should die and the king did nothing. He allowed it.
"They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud." 38:6
BUT "Ebed-Melek, a Cushite, an OFFICIAL in the royal palace, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern. While the king was sitting in the Benjamin Gate, he went out of the palace and said to the king, 'My Lord the king, these men have acted wickedly in all they have done to Jeremiah the prophet. They have thrown him into a cistern, where he will starve to death when there is no longer bread." 38:7-9
The king told him to take thirty men and lift Jeremiah out before he dies.
So he did so and retrieved old rags from the palace and threw them to Jeremiah as padding for the ropes. Saved his life!
"Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard" 38:13
Watched by the guards but able to live.
Then in 39:15-18 during the fall of Jerusalem, God told Jeremiah to tell Ebed-Melek that He will rescue him and allow him to live because he trusted in God.
YOUR voice matters!
When Ebed heard of the ill treatment Jeremiah received he took a stand. When a life was on the life he took action.
He stood against ALL of the other officials. He went to the king himself, who had allowed it in the first place.
He could have been thrown down too for calling out the issue of the situation.
But God blessed him for trusting in His plan and doing the right thing. He allowed him to live while all the other officials even the king did not heed the warnings of the war.
Be faithful in word and deed.
May your faith be EVIDENT to all.
Take a stand! God will bless your faithfulness. This also means sharing the Gospel. What better way to show you care then to speak the truth, the greatest love story of all time!
Feeling like a big girl because I started serving at church again today and I LOVED IT. I think I said it three times already in conversations, but I wish I'd started sooner. (I know I wasn't ready but)
Fam, if this is what you need to see to get out of your hiding spot and get back out there, then take it 😘 you are needed. You are important. You do have something really special to give to your world.
— lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about humility and reverence for God. It’s easy to fall out of balance, letting the things of this world consume us instead of focusing on the world to come. But God is greater than ALL things. It is up to us to choose Him above all else. We are to fill up on His presence, returning to the bottomless well of God time and time again. No matter how successful we are in this age, we will never be so great to not need our Lord, Savior, and Spirit.
Father, as we lay our heads down tonight, we want to say Thank You for creating this day that You allowed us to see. Thank You Father for how You protected us all day long. Thank You for keeping us from all seen and unseen danger. We thank You for Your Grace and Mercy that covered each step, word and action that we took today. Father, forgive us for anything that we said or done that was not pleasing in Your sight. Create in us clean hearts and make us more like You. Father, as we lay down tonight, we pray that You would cover us with Your Blood and that You would send Your Angels on their assignment to fight for us as we sleep tonight. Cover us oh Father even in our dreams, we plead the Blood of Jesus! Father, those that are working while we're sleeping, keep them safe as they work and bring them home safely. We bind up break ins, fires, drive by shootings and anything that is not of You. We decree and declare that we shall rest in You tonight! We thank You for being our Savior, Our Protector, Our Redeemer, Our Provider, Our King and our Everything! We praise You for being a Good Good Father and we know that we are LOVED by You! We give this day and everyday to You and it's in Your Matchless Name we pray, Amen.
Sometimes I get gobbled up in the lies of the world. They get into my head and make themselves a home to stay there. I believe that I’m unloved. I believe that I need to be a certain way to be liked. I believe that I’m not wanted. The voices can become so loud in my mind.
But God’s voice always defeats them all. Just when I feel like giving up, He reminds me of the truth. He reminds me who I am in Him, His child. I am fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. He makes my life worthy.
I’m here to remind you;;
Tune out those voices in your head. Tune in to His truth and word.

I left the USA less than 1 month ago and as my dad prayed over me he said “God we were told we could never have a child and 45 days later she was conceived. She’s not our child, she is yours.”
I cried listening to that. Because you know, it’s just a miracle for me to be here. It’s a miracle that I was born. It’s a miracle that I survived. It’s a miracle that I didn’t die the numerous times I should have throughout my 31 years of life. And it’s a miracle you’re here, too.
Being born is a miracle. Being alive is a privilege. And waking up each day is a gift. There have been plenty of times in my life when I felt like there was no reason for me to be here. I didn’t understand my purpose and I definitely couldn’t grasp my why.
It’s easy to think you’re just another dot on the map. When you humble yourself you know you are, but within the realms of humility and confidence you realize, there is only one you. Only one person intricately created with your talents, personality, character, and story. Only one you that could impact the world around you.
I was prideful thinking my life didn’t have purpose. It’s pride to discredit miracles and call them off as coincidences. It’s arrogant to think your life has no meaning. That’s a tough pill to swallow but it’s true.
So today, wherever you’re at I want you to know that you are a miracle. The fact that you were born is a miracle. The fact that you’re still here is a miracle. You don’t own your life or your story, you’re simply a steward of it. Cheers to stewarding it well.
My daughter took this picture of me, and I kinda love it. There’s so much movement involved in life. The coming and going, the learning and loving, and grieving and growing. A beautiful, always changing, mess.
It is so easy to get caught up in the going that we forget why we are moving in the first place. We misplace our view of success to look like someone else’s instead of the fulfillment of our specific “why.” My why has a lot to do with Jesus. And a lot to do with my marriage, kids, and those special relationships that matter most. I want to be a light and a refuge for them. A safe place for vulnerability and a word of grace and encouragement. How I tend my relationships and keep my home is hopefully a testament to this.
So what’s your why? Why do you do what you do and give how you give? What’s your heartbeat? Don’t get caught in comparison to someone else’s why. Your calling is just as important.
I’d love for you to share so we can encourage each other along this journey!
Sweet moments I pray to always remember: this morning, Gino surprised me with what he called a “seasonal just because” gift... a new bikini for our beach day date since he knows I’ve wanted a high-waisted one for a while. Things have been so busy for us and these moments when we slow down and my husband makes me feel so loved and so cared for, are the ones I want to soak deep into my soul ❤️
Let me know if you can relate to this: I was talking to a friend today who was really struggling with knowing how to approach the Bible. She was talking about how she wished she craved it everyday, but she just didn’t, and reading it felt like a chore that she got nothing out of it. She said she was struggling seeing so many people share their quiet times on Instagram, and that she loves following people who love the Lord and share what they are learning, but that she just feels stuck with where to start.
I’ve felt that way, too. Not just with Bible study at times, but with other things too. With my business—seeing others succeed quickly at what I’ve been working so hard for. With things that I am passionate about—and seeing those who just do it better or seem to have it all together. But here’s the thing—these people didn’t get to where they are without hard work. Without stepping into the struggle to even figure it out. We can’t just automatically have the ability without putting in the effort, whatever that may be.
Whether it is Bible study or something else we are hoping to grow in or achieve, we have to show up. We have to have discipline. We have to be present on the good days and on the bad days. We have to prioritize things. We have to be willing to be molded and shaped and stretched. We have to do the hard work of showing up and continuing to show up. We have to put in the effort if we want to grow. It doesn’t just happen by hoping it does. So let’s encourage one another to step in and grow. To be willing to get messy and to persevere even when we don’t want to so that we are shaped and stretched into something we never imagined we could become. Rarely do we just know automatically know how to do every little thing well—it takes effort and growth and just doing the dang thing. So let’s do it, friends!
When it’s been such a crazy week you unknowingly drive home with dinner on top of your car and thank the Lord repeatedly for his grace😅I solemnly swear to return every single unanswered message and notification next week 🖐🏻, but for now we unplug and eat our wind blown pizza 🍕😘👨👩👧👧
I LOVE that I can finally jump on the trampoline with my kids...WITHOUT PEEING MY PANTS!
I couldn’t for so long and I was so ashamed of myself and my body. It took hard work, but THAT hard was way more rewarding than the hard I left behind.
What hard are you living with? What hard could you replace it with? Can I walk through that hard with you? Let’s talk!
Three lessons I learned while reading 1 Corinthians...
1. Selfless love is the priority for every person that claims to be a Christ follower.
The Lord wants to see His children love others the same way He has loved us. So... how did He love us? He loved us by giving every single piece of himself up, expecting nothing in return. We need to do the same, not only towards our spouses or the people we enjoy being around but towards the world.
2. We must learn to control our emotions and refuse to let them control us.
The Word calls us to have self control. It doesn't just urge us to have this quality in 1 Corinthians, but in multiple verses within the Bible. Galatians 5:22-23 states that if we are truly displaying the gifts of the Spirit, then we would possess and express self control in every area of our life- including our feelings.
3. Love is an action.
God does not command us to feel certain ways, but he commands us to act certain ways. The word, "love" is not something we should sit trying to muster up before starting our day- It's something we have to commit to living out and we must do it whether or not we want to.
If Christians everywhere truly grasped these three concepts, this world would look a whole lot different.
Enjoying this 24 hour getaway ✨
Today I sat in on an inspiring women’s conference where we were asked 3 questions.
1. How do you manage extra (created) moments with God?
2. How do you see God’s love through any circumstance? Especially in the not so good.
3. How do you overcome emotions that disconnect us from fully knowing God?
Really ask yourself these questions + understand that when you seek God with all of your heart you don’t just know who God is, but you KNOW God himself. I don’t know about you but I don’t just want to know about Him, I want to truly know Him. That is His number one desire for us + when we seek Him we WILL find Him + when we find Him we receive so much peace, hope, and joy!
How reassuring is that?!
✨ “Jesus never said, follow me and forget everything else you ever wanted.
No, He said, follow me first and then everything else you need will be given to you.
We all make this mistake thinking other things like our careers, relationships, status, and yes even family should be first.
God wants to transform your life, no mistake in that. But before He does He needs you to put Him first.
I promise you, once you do... be prepared for the change of a lifetime.” ✨ #barbaramarcellaheartnotes#blogpost
EMBRACE the truth that YOU are valued in all your humanness! Trust me, it can be SO hard to get to a place of radical acceptance, ya know, the acceptance that your messy, imperfect self is SO lovable❤️ + definitely worth the extra cost😉 but YOU ARE! I promise🤞🏻
If you wanna be OVER the top,
a little excessive, or HM- do ya thang boo😘 Because being extra means you fully embrace WHO you are, what you WANT + HOW to get there! Being determined to + staying dedicated to your authentic self is NOTHING to hide or live out subtly 🙃💕
Your life is yours, don’t let others hold you back, do the shit that isn’t “NORMAL” to the rest of the world 🌎, with pride, it’s SO OK👌🏻 to be YOU! Embrace + stand UP 💪🏻 for your uniqueness, passion, quirks, flaws, weirdness- BE 😜 SILLY, because let’s be REAL 👏🏻 it’s way more fun!
