If you are in a season of waiting on the Promise :: I’m laying in bed at 12:15 sipping my second cup of coffee because sleep doesn’t seem right at the moment. Sometimes when I’m struggling all I want to do it run & hide & not come out... and that includes not sharing, not talking about it. I feel like it’s embedded in the core of our humanity.. to not speak in order for others to not be bothered. To not share in order to not be exposed or misunderstood.
The other night I was on the beach watching a wedding happening right below me. I stayed for the whole thing like the nosy human I am & celebrated with them as they ran off as husband & wife. And as I looked above, right before they said ‘I do,’ I see a sliver of rainbow. The faintest but most obvious picture of Promise. Of redemption. Of being held & known & fully seen. Of reminding our hearts that He knows the desires we have long since dismissed or buried or forgotten.
I don’t know what waiting season you are in but I feel led to just tell you this. You may look out with tears in your eyes wondering when that Promise will come. Wondering when the heartbreak will finally meet the vision. And I want to just remind you that He knows. There is no good thing that He withholds from you... He is a GOOD Father who delights in giving good gifts to His children. Just IMAGINE what a gift He longs & is awaiting to bring you. And sometimes that heart hug just starts by looking up and seeing the Promise. The Plan of redemption and grace and beauty and clarity. So whatever you are waiting for today... keep knocking. Keep praying. Keep coming & just showing up. He knows you. He knows the plans He has for you. And His promises... are good & beautiful & faithful. HE is faithful in your story. Remember that.

Father’s Day just passed, and I was thinking about whenever I had a conflict, one thing I remember my dad often telling me was “you will learn that the good guys usually finish last.” Super encouraging right?? 😂🤦🏻♀️
BUT he never left it at that. He would finish by saying, “but keep doing good because the truth always comes out eventually.” And it’s so true. It might feel like you are being trampled, trapped, or cornered, but hang in there. Keep doing the right thing because the truth always comes out eventually. .
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
It’s been my goal this year to read the entire #bibleinayear Not as chore nor am I able to “study” everything I am reading. It is something I wanted to do because honestly I have studied books of the Bible and done so many studies but never read through the entire Bible. I have learned that spending time in the Word of God is the best habit to have. So if you need to challenge yourself maybe this if for you too #wordbeforeworld Do it before work, do it before we go to the world for answers. God’s Word has everything we need. How are you doing this year? Tip for you... grab a Bible you love to read and maybe carry with you. Some days taking it with me is how I roll 👍🏻 .
P.S. #knitthegospelinyourheart Facebook group will be starting a new study in the book of Hosea in July! Join us if you want to learn to read the Bible and study for your self! ~link is in my profile~

If you envision a triangle as a representation of marriage, the two bottom corners represent you and your spouse and the top corner represents God. If you start leaning away from God, you also go the opposite way as a couple. However, if you are both going toward God, you both will very likely also come together. There are moments when Jesse and I struggle hard in our marriage and it’s almost always when we are struggling with our faith and not focusing on our own relationships with Jesus. We become selfish, prideful and we lack grace and forgiveness because our eyes are set on ourselves and not on God. •
Sweet friends, are you struggling in your marriage today? Consider where you’re at in your walk with God. Is he at the top or the bottom of your life and your priorities? Fight for that relationship with Him daily, fight for one another with intentionality and place Jesus at the center of all that you do. 🖤
God remains ACTIVE in our lives even when it feels as though He has fallen silent.
Stressful situations can drive us to inappropriate responses. Instead of pressing the PANIC button (which is usually the first thing we do), we should REST in God, RECALL His faithfulness and TRUST Him for the future. God remains active in our lives even when it feels as though He has fallen silent. We often spend our prayer time by "talking" to God (Guilty as charged) without spending any time just waiting in "silence" to see what God may have to say to us. We're so busy with talking "to" God instead of walking "with" and/or "hearing" from God that we miss what He's trying to tell us or we're "blocking" or "ignoring" what He's trying to tell us (which can cause consequences too). I am finding out more and more that "LISTENING" to God is ESSENTIAL to "walking" with God!
Dear depressed Christian: I want you to know that I am SO proud of you. The way you try your best to make it to church some days, and how you push yourself to get out of bed on those hard mornings. I love you so much!! I know there are some other Christians that may tell you things like “that’s just a demon you need to cast out” or “you better not kill yourself or you going straight to hell” or other things that sound insensitive and completely tone-deaf.
But LISTEN TO ME: I know how hard it is to try and pull yourself out of a pit, or “encourage yourself in the Lord,” or anything else that involves YOU having to put in so much work when you can barely even breathe sometimes. That’s why I want you to muster up all the strength you can, and fall at the feet of Jesus. HE hears your cries for help. HE is the one that brings us out of these pits of despair. And HE will set YOUR feet on solid ground and make your steps secure.
Those steps may lead you to a great therapist, or to the ending of a bad relationship, or even to a new church. But I promise you that if you allow Him to, God will take your cries of desperation and turn them into the lyrics of a brand new song of praise that will forever be on your lips. And as you share your story, you’ll give others the strength they need to fall at His feet too. (Isaiah 40:1-3) My DMs stay open if you need me fam ❤️

The key to living and thriving as a child of God is all about trusting Jesus! 🙌🏼When we only trust ourselves or our circumstances, we will ultimately let ourselves down. Jesus is calling us to trust in HIM! 🙏🏼My latest video with @lightworkers is linked in my bio 💗@nicoleweider
"The Bible is God’s Word, and if we ignore it, our lives will be morally and spiritually impoverished. Just as we need food and water to grow and be physically healthy, so we need the 'food' and 'water' of God’s Word to grow and be spiritually healthy." —Billy Graham
When I saw this quote, I felt it to be adequately true in my own life. I’ll be the first one to admit that there are days when my Bible reading gets pushed to the back burner and ultimately not done. I will also say I can tell a difference in my mind, heart, attitude, and soul on the days when I don’t read my Bible. This Word the Lord has so graciously given us is alive! It is meant to nourish us spiritually, and to guide us through this dark sinful world we are living in.
While I’ll never be perfect in this area of my life, I want to strive to be more committed in it. I am so thankful for this simple but profound quote. Let’s dig deeper into His word together. #itssimplytuesday

Sometimes the story changes partway through a journal and it feels like your bravest idea to march to the store and buy a new one with clean pages, with a new smear-proof pen at that. Change, Change, Change, will you ever come without these bended knees? #invitebeautytoday
I announced in my Bootcamp & on my Facebook that I have made the decision to move back to the East Coast, because, at the end of the day, that is where my heart is💕
Los Angeles has been amazing to me + I still have the Summer to spend here, with lots of memories to be made + fun to be had☀️
If I waited for life to go according to my plan, I would never have the ability to enjoy it, or remain in the present of each moment of it✨
Just like I had to STOP waiting for when I felt like getting sober or for someone else to get me sober, or when I had to STOP waiting to feel like taking care of my health + fitness, or for someone else to do it for me- I cannot wait for things to go my way, to start living my life🙏🏻
If I had said NO 4.5 years ago to GOD, I would not be sober today, if I had said NO 3 years ago to my coach, I would not being coaching + leading others today
My point is that, you have to step into fear, the unknown, the seasons in your life you weren’t expecting or you thought would go differently to MAKE the changes + TAKE the steps that move you forward as an individual- because at the end of the day, your FUTURE depends on you stepping UP + into it- without wasting another minute deciding if you SHOULD or CAN👊🏻
I’ve always felt indifferent, at best, to the flower salvia. Perhaps they are commonplace at garden centers. Or maybe when they are planted together in a bed they lose their distinctiveness and become skinny spikes of color without much interest. But when I was drawing a single flowering spike, suddenly it became much more attractive.
It’s funny how that works, isn’t it. You need to really single out most individuals from a crowd to really appreciate them. A crowd of teens can be overwhelming energy, but when you talk to a single one it can be fascinating. Look at a group of retirees and all you may see is a sea of white hair. But spend a few minutes and you learn so much more about their skills, interests and history.
That’s why we should never underestimate our own uniqueness. Spend some time thinking about what makes you unique and what would be the best way to use those talents so that others can see it as well.
