THROWBACK THURSDAY to the craziness that has been my life the last couple of months!
Firstly, achieving my goal above and beyond expectations of becoming Australia’s first WBFF Transformation Champion after overcoming Stage 4 cancer only 16months prior which lead to the unbelievable opportunities that followed...
Being approached by Channel 9 News, Channel 7 Today Tonight and Sunrise and Channel 10 The Project to feature on all of their shows exclusively and have the chance to not only share my story, but also raise awareness for my fellow cancer fighters and survivors with the mental battles we face during and after treatment! Something I hold so closely to my heart and am so so thankful to have been given the exposure all across the country to make the struggles known to all!
Then to also be exposed to the world wide news through news.com daily mail twice and the Daily Mercury! Each story was written so great and all had their own approach to my story so all were worth a read!
I then decided to jet set to Vegas to continue the dream and raise awareness internationally by competing at the WBFF Worlds Competition where I was able to meet so many incredible people all overcoming their own forms of adversity and share our inspiring stories with the world.
The whirlwind didn’t end when we returned either, I then got the opportunity to do my first ever speech as a motivational speaker at a sporting event which while it was very nerve wracking, was the greatest way to push myself to the next stage and really step out of my comfort zone!
Now with magazine exposure, I made it to the semi finals for the Oxygen Magazine Covergirl Competition and will be in the Take 5 Magazine in a couple of weeks time!
Crazy couple of months right? So now is time for me to rest, recover and then launch a few exciting upcoming goals I can’t wait to share with you all!! ☺️🙌❤️
Sammy Pham, a recent grad of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University Japan on being supported by Clemmer and her #ExceedEd dedication: “Transferring high schools at the beginning of senior year was my most difficult decision at that time. Changing from the IB Diploma to the AP program at a new school meant not only leaving my 7-year-lasting mates but also fighting for a gate to University without support. That was until I met Clemmer. From the first month of senior year, I thought that completing AP courses were my only ultimate goal - not college - until Clemmer asked the class if we had prepared for our Personal Statements. From that date Clemmer spent extra time as an AP Literature teacher as well as a College Consultant. She would coordinate her AP Literature knowledge with helping me structure my Personal Statement, so that I could deliver my true personality using insightful word-choices. Without her, I would have given up on University. Without her, I wouldn’t be able to study abroad. She is a friend who is there for your future growth!” Visit ExceedEd.com to get the most personally tailored help for your college apps right away! #successstories#congrats Sammy!
