The Australian guest who stayed consecutive nights at Konichi-an, after her 4 days Kumano Kodo walking.
On the 2nd day, we planned to have a trial experience for Japanese tea ceremony, and the guest was very happy to join us.
The teachers are from local tea ceremony club, their every movement is meaningful and beautiful.
The guest has joined tea ceremony experience in Kyoto before, she was very interested in that and tried to whisk the tea!
She said she enjoyed it very much, and it was the highlight of her trip.😉
The Japanese tea ceremony experience in Konichi-an, it's just a process of trial, and it might take several months to start the experience officially, but we want to continue the trial experience once a month or every two months, it’s free of charge at this moment.
If you would like to join us, please feel free to let us know when making booking, so that we will check the availability with the teachers.
We offer an trial experience in English, and if need, we can translate it into Chinese.
We will also let you know in this Instagram page when we start the Japanese tea ceremony officially!
Discover a new aspect of Japanese culture by experiencing the Japanese tea ceremony. 🙂
The so-called "workers must first sharpen their tools to do good things", but there are hundreds of tools on the market. How to choose them can be "good for buying", although "experience is the mother of wisdom", but how much it costs? In order to buy enough of your own experience, from time to time I will write my own tools and usage details. Any questions can be submitted in the comments, and I wish you can find the right tool.
No.501 Narisawa - A place I have wanted to go to for many years and last week the amazing @linsi took me!
It was an amazing experience, set in a calm and warm interior, the staff bustled around quietly serving all the excited guests.
Each dish as you can expect for the notorious chef was an art form inspired by Satoyama cuisine. All the ingredients picked from the Japanese mountains and seas.
Most of the dishes are meant to be eaten by hand, and the ingredients are ridden within their presentation, for example the last photo is wagyu beef, presented as a piece of coal.
All in all it was not only the best meal I’ve ever had but also inspirational.
Big thanks to Narisawa-San and to Masuto our main waiter and to everyone else!
