The Air Combat Command F-16 Viper Demo Team performs precision aerial maneuvers demonstrating the unique capabilities of one of the Air Force's premier multi-role fighters. Designed in the 1970s, the F-16 can reach speeds twice the speed of sound.
The F-16 Viper flight demonstration will be flown by Major John "Rain" Waters from the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw AFB, SC. The 12 minute display will feature the F-16 at the edge of it's flight envelope complete with high-G afterburning turns & vertical climbs.
At the conclusion of the performance, "Rain" will join up with a Vietnam-era Douglas A-1 Skyraider for the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight.
