This man was declared brain dead by doctors. For those who are not aware, there is no recovery from this medical condition. BUT Glory to God, He gave us the power of prayer and healing! This man today is alive, awake, and out of the hospital after family continually prayed over him hour after hour.. for about a month. THIS IS MY UNCLE! If you want to know more simply ask and please share this miracle to others. You may know someone in the same position, if no one gives you hope, never give up. Jesus Christ our Lord and savior is never far! #prophesy over them ❤✨🙏✨❤ #ilovejesus#believe#iam
I believe His plan in my life is already written. But I recognize that we go through difficult seasons in life when you lose what we feel sustains us. ie. Relationships, Employment, or material things. At this moment I find myself right there, I lost all of the above with the span of 3 months. Now I am faced and challenged with starting over + I feel He is leading me in a new & foreign endeavor. This profile is my baby step into that path of obedience. You see, He’s called me to writing. I never done it before & my skills for it are just not there. None the less, I will put my faith in Him bc He knows better than I. Who knows, maybe something I share helps 1 other person and that in itself is a blessing. Everyone is important, everyone is loved, everyone is worthy in the eyes of our Savior. You are priceless! You are a child of God 💖 and this is the revelation I needed to wash away fear anxiety and doubt in order to keep my eyes fixed on what is good and motivate me to press in and keep running the race of FAITH 🙌🏽. #christian#inspiration#newbeginnings#jesus#Bibleverse#bible#votd#holyspirit#savior#christ#promises#biblestudy#christianblog#faithful#godsword#christianquotes#christianblogger christianblogger #faithblogger

Le but de cette journée et de me rappelé que il y'a 24 ans il ma envoyé accomplir ma mission sur cette terre et je repartirai auprès de lui un jour. “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
Philippians 4:6-7 MSG
“and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.””
Psalm 50:15 NIV
Call on the name of Jesus in times of trouble! When trouble comes your way how do you react? Do you get scared, overcome with fear? Or do you call on the name of Jesus? Do you call Him onto the scene?
Yesterday we were headed home from picking Gabby up from school driving on one of our major highways here in Tulsa. I was one exit away from being home and suddenly all I could hear was breaks and tires squealing all around me. There was nothing in front of me so just as I turned my head to the left all I could see was the front of a car coming right at me! I didn’t gasp, yell, scream, wasn’t overcome with fear! I simply and calmly said the name Jesus! And He intervened! Just as fast as I saw the front of that car I saw the underneath of it! There is no logical explanation to explain what I witnessed! God reached down stopped that car pivoted it around and stopped all the traffic that was behind us! We were untouched because I called Jesus to the scene!
All Glory to God! I have heard of incidents like this but never witnessed one and never experienced it until yesterday! He saved me and my children all because I called out to Him! Call on Jesus, call on Him in your time of trouble! Don’t take His name in vain. Actually call out to the Father and He will protect you always! 🙌🏼🙏

I've always been a broken Christian.
I don't mean that I'm broken because of my sin (but that too, of course), I mean I've just never worked right as a Christian. I've never really been a hand raiser or a jumper. There are definitely times I've felt God's presence, but not in the same way others describe.
Which I guess would make me the perfect fit for the Christian tradition I grew up in. They're more of the stoic type: be still as you sit or stand, position yourself near the back, don't show emotion, be quiet unless you're unhappy with something, then voice your opinion and nitpick everything you didn't like after the service.
Except I do like to move to the music. And I don't really care about the things they care about, like the building and the traditions (or tradition just because "this is how we've always done it"). Last weekend I attended an outreach conference and during the worship portions I was reminded that I've never worked right as a Christian.
Sometimes I’ve wondered if there’s a reason for it.

WORK WITH YOUR OWN HANDS
The Thessalonians were neglecting their daily work, and consequently, they were depending on the wealth and hard work of others. Here, we see Paul encouraging them to work with their own hands so that outsiders may see their selflessness and hard work and so that God may be glorified through His people.
It’s so easy to give in to the sins of selfishness and slothfulness in a world that does not value sacrificial service to others. Do you struggle with this? Do not be mistaken; we should never be afraid to ask for help, and we are called to depend on the Body of Christ. We cannot live apart from the family of God. But due to our sinful nature, we can so easily take advantage of the hard work and bounty of others, abusing kindness and generosity, even expecting and feeling entitled to it, so we stop doing the duties God calls us to in service to others.
In Matthew 20, we learn even the King Himself came not to be served but to serve others, even to the point of death. In Jesus’ Kingdom, leaders serve as slaves. Sisters, we can learn from Jesus in this way. God calls us each to work with our own hands, putting others’ needs before our own, and to do all things to the glory of God.
So, whatever you are called to – from menial tasks to big duties – do it well, with your whole heart, putting the needs of others first. By your own flesh, you cannot do it. But by God’s sufficient grace, you can be the hands and feet of Christ. // @chelsey_meissner
In healthcare, there are days when it is hard to see the good through all the sickness and sadness that you work with every day. Today was one of those days. This week has been one of those weeks. It is super easy to become cynical, jaded, and emotionally distant. But we all have those patients who haunt us - cases we won’t ever forget. They bring us back to reality, and remind us what it means to be human. Today I was involved in a really long, really hard, and really devastating code. Most of us who work in healthcare are no strangers to codes, but like I said some cases just get you. I was part of an incredible team - with seamless communication. Every person in the room worked their butt off. Every person did everything they could. And #eventhough the outcome was not a happy one, I was still proud of our work. Today, I watched a bunch of humans, do their best to save another human. And in that, I was reminded that we are ALL human. It doesn’t matter what side of the bed you’re on. We can’t predict the future. We can’t control the outcome of the situation, we can only do our best. We will make mistakes - and we will keep making them. Ultimately, we are not in control, but we have a God who is. We aren’t going to understand or explain with science and medicine how and why everything happens. But when things are dark, and things are hopeless, and sad, and don’t make any sense - we have a God who is good, and a God who is in control. Today I was reminded of that. God has the final say. Our worth, our identity, and our grace isn’t found in our abilities, our knowledge, our efficiency, our resumes - it’s found in Him. #eventhough#iwill#BeMOREhuman

There are people of the low profile type, who have somehow been verbally abused and generally ridiculed by their classmates in childhood and thus avoid confrontation.
They are convinced that they are not good at facing anyone, since they will lose anyway and think that the only way to get along is by being calm and accepting what will happen. They also believe another lie - that they are not really loved by God, because they feel that they are not worthy to be loved by anyone.
If the enemy of your mind can convince you that it is very bad or worthless, he has created a fortress in your mind. Even if you are a Christian, your mind will be imprisoned by your enemy.
You need to know that you are loved, and that you are as valuable to the kingdom of God as any other person. To win this battle, demolish the strongholds that the devil has built, he needs to know the truth.
We must learn the truth as we read the Word of God, pray and meditate on what God tells us. We will also learn that as we practice the Word of God in our daily lives we will see that it works just as Jesus said it would, because it is full of power and that it knocks down the strongholds that Satan has built in our minds. We can not be free unless we know that the weapons of war are available to us and that we can learn to use them.
