The Virgin Martyrs are the strongest women you’ll ever encounter. The torchers they patiently, lovingly, and joyfully endured for the sake of protecting there virginal purity for love of God, demonstrate a fortitude that is both awe inspiring and daunting. We need more feminists like these virgin martyrs, who show there power to man in there awe inspiring and supernatural Fortitude for the preservation and glorification of humble holy purity! St. Agatha refused to sexually please and marry a powerful man and so in rage he sent her to a brothel to be raped repeatedly, but the men who tried couldn’t move or were blinded, in rage he mutilated and cut off her breasts, along with several other torchers, she was 20. Some Virgin martyrs were even younger. St Philomena only 13, and St. Maria Goretti only 11. If such young little girls can demonstrate such fortitude, what does that mean for us? Are we willing to face the same fire they did? Are we prepared to lovingly and peacefully lay dawn our lives for the sake of the preservation of truth and purity? Are we living with the same fortitude, (to face death) for love of God and holy humility?! We must start praying with greater zeal. We must start living in Truth, in Love and Humility. We must start living more then for ourselves. We must, with fortitude, live the virtue of unconditional love and mercy for it takes great fortitude to love in such a way!God Bless.
