Meet my STAR @dejiyusuf1
Read his story below.
My scars make me a STAR. House fire, had to jump out from 4th floor down to the ground floor to save my life... God is Great!
My siblings used to tease me telling one another the burns has gotten to Deji's brain, is he mentally okay.? Well I proved that to be false as I achieved First Class honours for my first degree. Well this story will be for another day!
I used to question why I have scars on my body. I failed my GCSE's examination three times as I was still grieving over the loss of my skin, and the fact that I was bullied by peers in school. School became a scary place for me. I used to isolate myself because the nicest thing I had growing up was my non-scarred skin. I used to avoid social gatherings especially places where I would make use of my scarred hands such as restaurants, school or workplace.. TO BE CONTINUED.
Now I appreciate the scars as it makes me humble, determined and made me realise that I am a product of Gods grace.
