Have your workout efforts not lined up with the progress you see on the scale? That happens a lot - believe me!

Transforming isn’t hard, it’s mostly consistency and small changes over time. Just keep at it, the time will pass anyways!! And ladies- lift weights!🏋🏻♀️
NEW LOW WEIGH IN! I woke up this morning weighing 214 pounds, down 8 pounds since January. That’s about 1 pound a week. Workouts are getting harder, because I have zero motivation and energy, which is a result from being in a caloric deficit 😐...
I still have a good amount of my strength 💪, I was able to squat 405 for 4 sets of 6 reps today. -
There’s a couple things I’ve learned from focusing on losing weight “slowly” for fat loss, rather than losing weight too quickly:
1.)You’re able to preserve a good amount of your muscle
2.)You’re able to maintain a good amount of your strength
3.)You’re less likely to be discouraged and quit
4.)The fat/weight loss is more sustainable and you’re less “likely” to rebound after returning to your maintenance calories -

While I LOVE Running now I wasn't always a runner. I actually HATED running when I was younger! Somewhere in my early 20s though I decided I wanted to run a 1/2 marathon.....I would start and stop and yo-yo with it and would eventually run a 10k but nothing further.
Fast forward to about 9 months after I had my daughter and my friend mentioned to me that her and her sister wanted to run a Half. I committed to training and said this would be the time that I would do this! This race was so much more emotional than just saying we ran a 1/2 marathon it proved to me that I really COULD do the things I thought I couldn't do. It really set the tone for me to start seeing in myself what I actually was capable of and taught me how to push past my own negative thoughts. By achieving this goal that I had labeled impossible I started to truly believe in my body and realize that it was about more than how skinny I was. Setting goals beyond weight loss help us to believe in our strength and view ourselves in a whole different light.

❌ No more spending ENDLESS hours in the gym
❌ No more avoiding social parties
Instead YOU get to 👏 Eat your favorite foods (even pizza....and wine)
👏 Spend LESS time in the gym (more fun time!)
👏 Go out with friends MORE and ENJOY yourself
👏 Lose the weight and FINALLY KEEP it off……FOR GOOD
