Funfetti cake with butter cream frosting and fondants. First time playing with fondants. It is quite fun, brings back the memories of play dough. It is a bit difficult to get the fondant smooth and it does not attach to other fondants very well. Anyone has recommendations on what to do? I find kneading the fondant and adding a tiny bit of water help a bit.
And this cake is for the one and only @lennoxje, who is the sprinkles to my funfetti cake. Happy birthday! 🐳🎉🎈

How do you guys take protein for your body? This is a question specially for vegetarians... I do my part with #OneLentilEveryday
And of all the lentils, my personal favourite is ‘split mung dal’. Mung is the king of pulses, extremely nutritious and light to digest. There are many recipes with mung dal, so let us start with a simple one.. (trust me, the following recipes are going to be worth the wait)...
1 bowl yellow mung dal
2-3 cloves finely chopped garlic
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Ghee for tadka
Cumin seeds for tadka
Wash the lentil thoroughly and pressure cook it
Once it is done, add chopped coriander, chillies, salt and turmeric ( turmeric aids digestion and has many medicinal values)
Now while serving prepare a tadka with ghee(can use oil too) and jeera
Once the jeera starts spluttering, add chopped garlic and sauté
Switch off gas and add pinch red chilli powder and hing
Serve hot with phulkas or khakhras
Tinda- This is also called ‘apple gourd’ and is a seasonal vegetable. Very good to have in monsoon.
It is one of the abhorred vegetables in mostly all households... so i make it a little crisp (so that means it needs oil). But everyone has their own recipes for tinda, i am sure... so make it as it suits you.. #FitFam#FitIsIn#fitstagram
