Couldn’t help but bring some of these bright beauties in for the table. Also found some sparkle for my garden (inspiration via @shutterbean )at the #frillsandthrills vintage market a couple weeks ago, now just gotta figure out where to hang them!!
Clipping these peonies reminded me of a story my aunt told very casually last year. My lovely grandmother would pack up her family of 6 into a camper and go somewhere to see this beautiful country. As dinner was resting I ran out to clip a few flowers for our table and I remembered my aunt saying that when they got to their camp for the night grandma would have them run out to pick wild flowers for the picnic/dinner table. Beauty in the details.
Sometimes it’s nice to take a minute to step back and enjoy the finished product. I’ve been hustling from one thing to the next lately and not able to fully soak up the full picture of what I get to do and how the right collaborations create sublimity. Thank you for all of it @designanddigest, @gray_magazine, @melissakaseman, @blueeyebrowneye, and @logandcox
One of my favorite “caught in my act moments” of all time. Thank you for the pic @gatherseattle. What a beautiful space to be fixing wilted and broken flowers... because, packing in the car 🙄🙃 #theblockproject#graymagazine#gatherseattle
How does your dinner table look?
I was overjoyed to finally be able to create some beautiful flowers for the table @thebirdinhandw14!
Their private dining table calls out to have flowers on it all the time! This was for an Easter celebration dinner for some regulars...
I hope it becomes a regular thing!
Are these colors calling anyone else out for the Long gray winter and into beautiful sunshine?? Looking forward to playing with a handful of you in a few weeks for our @socialcreativeworkshops floral workshop! #makers#seattlefloralworkshop 📷: @lauramarchbanks
