As a Medan myself, every home cooking in my house is Medan's food and as bias as I can be, I always thought my mom's cooking is the best. But if you want to taste Medan's home cooking taste, this is as close as you can be to my mom's, introducing Hua San Medan Chinese Food restaurant at Green Lake City. It is located beside Papa Mama Pastries.
We ordered Fried Pork Belly and Shrimp Tauco. They are AWESOME. The pork belly is crispy yet tender inside. The tauco is tasty, calling it shrimp is understatement as every piece is more of a prawn than a shrimp
The portion is hugeee for the price. Average 70K per person shall do the trick. Thanks to @jimmyomie who introduced me first time to this restaurant (I will definitely be a regular here). #huasan#medanfood#foodjournal
🍝+🥒=😁 For a girl whose diet has historically consisted of about 10% pasta.. I’m having a lot of fun testing out some alternatives! These zucchini noodles hit the spot tonight without making me feel the usual food baby that pasta gives me. 🤰🏻
For these zzzzoodles, I used a veggie peeler to cut the zucchini into thin slices, then stacked those slices up and cut them into a spaghetti shape. Then I sautéed them with a lil garlic, salt, and pepper and topped them with Grandma’s meat sauce. ❤️
