Finally a place in Mumbai that you can head to for a beautiful Parisian-style High Tea! Being a pure vegetarian restaurant, all their delicacies are egg-free - so no worrying about any food restrictions. Tasse de Thé is extremely understanding about Jain Food.
This stunningly plated 2 Tier High Tea platter felt so French in every bite we took. A perfectly balanced combo of savouries & pastries was served with a lovely pot of freshly brewed exotic tea. We had the Soul Sister Tea Blend infused with French Lavender Buds & Butterfly Pea Pods. Every sip had us swooning. The pretty blue coloured tea & the mouth-watering nibbles were devoured in no time!

What Friday pizza night looks like for us, and I am 1000% okay with this!
I feel like there will be a lot of misconceptions when others see this picture. Someone might see this and have the misunderstanding that I am ‘afraid’ to eat the pizza. That I think eating pizza will make me unhealthy, and that is just not the case here. There will be a lot of foods you won’t see me eat, and there is a reason for it.
Dealing with autoimmune issues, there were times that my inflammation was so bad that I felt like I couldn’t get out of bed. When I started looking into possible foods that were making the inflammation worse, I eliminated those foods in hoping this would help. And you know what!? It did!
I just want to say that I never ever feel like there are foods I can’t have! I can eat whatever I want! I am not scared of it! But, I am perfectly aware of how some foods make me feel (and trust me, it can be immediate and bad!) So, I HAPPILY choose not to eat those foods! And even though I might not be eating pizza with my fam, I loved watching my sons face light up when his daddy suggested pizza night (with his fave pepperoni 🍕), and I loved still getting to sit, watch movies, and laugh with them!
I do live a life of ‘balance’, but it just might seem a little different then others and that’s okay! Everyone is different, everyone’s body is different, and everyone just has to find the balance that is right for them! I love food and I am not afraid of it ❤️
