I get way too much pleasure from good food! The Carnival Brunch at @sheratonjumeirah was really satisfying! The price was reasonable considering the variety of food and the free pool & beach access. 👍🏻💯
Prawn and potato curry.
Most easy to make, this is a devine curry that never fails to hit the spot. Wiped out every single time! Try it and give me feedback please.
2 small sliced onions
1 tsp each ginger/garlic paste
6 to 8 curry leaves
1/2 tsp each red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder
Salt to taste
4 to 6 dried red chilli balls
3 small tomatoes peeled/ blended
22 to 25 pieces of medium size cleaned prawns
2 potatoes cubed &deep fried
4 green chillies
4 to 5 tbsp coconut powder mixed with half glass of water
1 tsp dry roasted zeera
Coriander to garnish
*In a wok/karahi add oil and saute a mix of onions, ginger garlic paste along with curry leaves, dried red chilli balls, turmeric, red chilli, coriander and cumin powders.
*Once the liquid dries and the oil rises to the surface, add the liquidised tomatoes. Cover and cook till the tomatoes are done. Uncover and let the water dry up. *Add the prawns in and mix well on high fire. Do not cook prawns for more than 2 to 3 mins.
*Add in the fried potatoes, green chillies and mix well.
*Now pour in the coconut powder mix.
At this point the curry should be ready.
*Take off the fire and garnish with coriander and the dry roasted zeera (make sure to rub between palms so it releases flavor)
*Serve with fluffy white rice.
