I need to brag on this little one for just a second. Today while we were outside waiting on the garbage truck, Amelia and I were walking up the sidewalk to the end of our street. We’ve been working on teaching her to stop at the end of the sidewalk and not to go into the street, but also to look both ways before we cross the street together. I realize this is a difficult concept for her to completely grasp at her age, but I thought it was important to start practicing it early. I really felt like we hadn’t been getting anywhere with it until today. Amelia got to the end of the sidewalk and stopped. She looked up and down the street and even saw her friend down the road, but didn’t walk out into the street. She then looked up at me and reached her hand out for me to hold so that we could cross the street together. Y’all, some days I feel like I’m failing as a parent and other days she shows me that she is in fact learning things that we teach her. #proudmom#AmeliaRoseLee#babyLee#love#fourteenmonthsold
Nov 3...a day of reflection, remembrance and really cherishing the minutes. Daddy’s girl she’ll always be. Doing my very best to keep up with ol’Clark w griswold and got my lights up..not on but up and ready. Soaking up the last of the beautiful weather...and found a tiny little ladybug doing the same. And some sassy cuteness...my Little Miss.
