“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”
Philippians 4:8-9 MSG
Hi I’m Leah Payne (left) and I’m the voice you hear here on Instagram typically. We wanted to pop in and properly introduce ourselves. ~
I’m the wife to a bearded youth pastor and a mother to three awesome kids. I drink coffee for my own sanity and when I’m not working I like to play on our tractor. I take fewer showers then suggested and I only wash my hair about once a week. 🤷🏻♀️
The beauty to the right is Amber Watson. Artist of the typical nature, she paints, sings, plays piano, and can’t be on time to save her life. If there is such a thing as being an over-giver, it’s her. She’s an eccentric lover of color and can tell you her favorite color by its proper paint swatch name. 👩🎨 🎨 ~
If you’re following along, thank you! We’d love to hear something about YOU! Who are you and how often do you shower? 😂
Sappy post alert! Guess what? Today is my birthday!!! I’m reflecting on how grateful I am for the opportunity to make it happen and start my own company. And despite the many challenges it will take to get “there”, I know that it is completely impossible if not for Y-O-U cheering me on. Y’all are the chocolate syrup on my favorite @bluebellicecream! 😉⠀
The best birthday present anyone can give me is just to be sharing about Snow Beauty Co. Will you double tap this post and tell your friends about it by tagging them below?! 🙏🏻💕 I want to build a community of people who are excited about their unique passions, personality, and appearance.⠀
THIS YEAR I AM:⠀
Dreaming of becoming a momma (#notpregnant 😉) and successful business owner.⠀
The things that fire me up are redemption and grace, and all that is life-giving and beautiful.⠀
I believe in God making all things new and that LIFE comes from Him.⠀
I want to make *THRIVING* in my current season happen because it sets me free to love others well.⠀
I will do this by cultivating a heart of thanksgiving and believing that I am walking in abundance.⠀
I will spend LESS time worrying and assuming negativity and MORE time identifying my gifts and blessings.⠀
Every day, I will work hard to have a heart filled with thanksgiving.⠀
I will focus on what matters, which is RELATIONSHIPS. I will remind myself there is JOY in the journey!⠀
Here’s to thirty-one.⠀
Just because we are wishing it was #fridayintroductions on this dreary Wednesday, and we could not wait to say hello to all the new people around here 👋 Thank you so much for following along on this new adventure with us. I’m Megan and this is my fiancé David, the creators of Long Leaf Table Co. 🍃 Most days you can find us working on improving our new home, playing with our chocolate lab puppy, planning for our November wedding, and spending time with friends. Our inspiration stems from combining farmhouse elements with modern flair to create beautiful pieces. 🛠We love designing a piece that was made with meaning and purpose then sharing our creations with others to bring them the same excitement. 🎉 One of the things we are most excited for with Long Leaf Table Co. is meeting new people and creating relationships with others in our community and beyond! As an extrovert and Communications major in college, I love connecting with others and creating content to display my fiancé’s talents of designing and building, so together we make a pretty great team! We are so thrilled that you found our little corner of the internet. If you want to connect, collaborate, or just say hello we would love to hear from you!! 💚 Feel free to send us a direct message here or a note to our email email@example.com // photo from @kelseynelsonphoto #farmhousetables#claytonnc#longleafpine#localbusiness#buysmallbusiness#woodworking#carpentry#farmhouse#humpday🐫
Hello friends! 👋🏾 I’m super excited that it’s finally Spring! 🌿☀️ I’m 💯% a sunshine person - perhaps that’s the California girl in me. ✨ There are a few new faces in here, so I thought I’d do a quick little intro 💖
My name is Rosalynne [sounds like roz-uh-lynne] and I’m the creative behind #RosalynneLove 😍 I have a background in graphic design, and obtaining that degree was a huge part of how I started my business. You can read more about that in my blog and website 😉👌🏾 I’m super passionate about design, lettering and screenprinting. 🎨 Being creative (and an entrepreneur for that matter) runs in my blood, so I’m thankful to carry on the legacy. 💕
Now important question - why do I do what I do? I make products that can encourage you in your walk through life, bringing joy into your life and your home. 🏡 My hope is that when you purchase from the shop, the item can inspire you in whatever season your in. 🌿 Plus you can feel good that you’re not only buying something for yourself, and helping fulfill my dream, but you’re supporting SIX sponsor children we support through the shop. ❤️🙏🏽 So basically, one purchase can be a triple win. 🎉
Anyways, thanks for reading and hanging out on this corner of the internet with me! 😘
I’d love to know a very important question: how do you drink your coffee? ☕️ Personally, I taught myself to love it black, but when I’m feeling fancy I love a good cortado with almond milk. 👌🏾 Comment below and let me know how you love your coffee!
P.S. I may or may not have some story templates being released over the next few days... and a one of the themes is most definitely all about coffee. 🙌🏾

Hi there 🙋🏼♀️, I am Cathrin. A German 🇩🇪girl living in the US. My husband and best friend is an Englishman 💂🏻♀️through and through💪. The little pebble in my arms is Sky. The 15 month old joy of my life. He is very good in keeping me occupied but I love hanging out with him. He is the first American 🇺🇸in our little family and the 2nd one is already on the way🤰🏼
It’s not #fridayintroductions but thought to do one on this hump day instead.
🐝I’m Christine, the Boss Lady behind KienBee Boutique. About me: I’ve had a deep love for sewing from the very first time I threaded a bobbin in fashion design class in high school. I’m 5 months away from celebrating my 10 year anniversary to my husband. When we met for the first time I was wearing a Bob the tomato shirt, light washed bootcut jeans, and tennis shoes. I’m a mommy of three kids and I run on green tea, strawberry sour belts, and spontaneous Kids Bop Kids dance parties. I love Jesus and I pray before and during every item I create. Did I mention I never let the microwave finish it’s full cooking time leaving 4-2 seconds on the screen. It’s my calling card. 👉🏻That’s me. 👈🏻
I love to share the story of starting my business out with a sharpie, a kids paint tray and a bottle of glitter. While the story usually gets a few laughs, the point is we all start somewhere. I remember staying up until 6 am hand painting over 25 baby shower invitations because I didn’t know how to duplicate them digitally. I remember asking a really popular lettering artist how she did it and hearing “Well it’s just hard. Good luck” I remember yesterday when I opened the mobile view of my site and felt defeated because it falls short in comparison to my desktop site. Do you see where I’m going here? If you are in the trenches because you keep waiting to “make it” I want to encourage you to keep showing up. Most of us haven’t made it. Most of us face plant every week even when we pretend like life is perfect online. Keep completing the mundane tasks with excellence because when opportunity comes knocking you will be prepared! #shdcsmallbiz#smallbusinessdiaries
Thought I’d take a moment to do #fridayintroductions on a Wednesday 🤷🏼♀️ my name is Lynda but one of my nicknames is Splynda (like the sweeter) so that’s why it’s my username on here. I know, I know, I should go by my business name but I’ve always had Splynda as my name on IG. So I’m keeping it...for now. Anyways, I’m a pretty simple person. I work full time and run my business. I’m a mom and soon to be wife. I do not skip on my morning coffee and if I do you need to check my pulse. That’s all for now! 😘
I’ve always struggled with that “What do you want your life to look like in 10/20/50 years?” question, because I’m not really a planner. The thought of scheduling things out for even a year makes me sweat - just ask my college roommate, who had to have several telephone conversations with me before I signed a 12-month lease on our apartment.
But today I wrote a blog post about what I’d like my life to look like when I’m 80, because even though I like to go wherever the wind blows, a wise woman once told me that if you don’t design your own life, someone else will design it for you. // If you want to read about my 80-year-old self, the link is in my profile. ❤️
Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing some very vulnerable information about me for #mondayintroductions. I don’t ever share much about my personal life and goals because putting yourself whole heartedly out there on social media can be a super scary thing. I want to be real with not just with myself but with my friends, clients and followers here on Instagram as well.
I used to be super active back in high school. I was in my high school’s dance team, I would go work out with friends at the gym, I loved hiking the outdoors, etc. But all that disappeared after I moved down to Texas from Alaska. I wasn’t as active anymore because I was in a new town I wasn’t familiar with. Then we got pregnant and being active was the last thing on my mind. After Emeri’s arrival, motherhood took over me. Don’t get me wrong though, motherhood is a beautiful experience that doesn’t compare but 2 years of using “motherhood” as my excuse is over today. Today I’m fighting to be active again. I’m fighting to have a better and healthier lifestyle. I’m fighting to feel better about myself physically and mentally. I’m fighting to be a better me.
With inspirations like @athomewithemmarose #myfighttofeelbetter and @beccaleaphoto #beccas30dayeveryday , I know I’m not alone in this journey. I can do this!
MY WEBSITE IS LAUNCHING IN ONE WEEK! So, to start things off, here’s the girl behind Sunshine Shannon Photography! I’m Shannon! Im based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but always always have my bags packed and you know I’m down for an adventure. Im a photographer for couples who are best friends in love. Like, super super in love. The “I miss you already even though you’ve just walked out of the room,” kind of thing. Photographing weddings that are outside in nature are my jam, and I’m all about images that are unposed, candid, and authentic to your love. I want to capture your story, your way.
My favorite thing about my new brand and website that’s coming soon? The ability to serve my couples in an incredibly thoughtful and refined way. I want to make sure that everyone is getting an amazing experience working with me, and I have lots of ways to make that happen. I never want my couples to feel like they’re just another number on my calendar, or their wedding is just another tally for the year.
Working with me, you’re going to get a best friend. You’re going to be working with someone who is 100% committed, and cares about your wedding just as much as you do. I cannot wait to serve all of you with my words, actions, and throughout your special day.

It was 2009 and I was in the middle of a pretty crappy breakup/divorce, a job I hated and spending about 90 hours a week student teaching. I also had a 1-year-old so stress was at an all-time high. Photography was something I was passionate about forever but after high school and AP Photo ended it wasn't something I thought I could ever do as a career (also I hated taking portraits - ha!). A co-worker was getting married and had his engagement session photos taken. As soon as I saw them it was like a fire ignited. They were full of so much life and love, in a time when I was not feeling much of either.
I reached out to my Uncle Bill who was a retired sports photographer, just to talk to him about his struggles and if he had any advice. He did something amazing guys...he sent me a camera. Like a nearly new (he upgrades a lot) Nikon D2s. ⭐️
This camera saved me. ❤️
It allowed me to see the joy and purpose in other peoples lives and turn such a negative time in my life into a positive. I started my business very part-time in 2010, met my now husband in 2011 and had babies in 2012 and 2014, but all the time, I was learning and growing my business. I was fortunate that my job paid well and eventually allowed me to work from home, giving me the opportunity to really grow my photography business side hustle. In 2014 we moved to Wisconsin and I quit my job, took a short maternity leave and never looked back.
Sometimes I have to stop and pinch myself that this is my job, that I can document the most amazing days of peoples lives and fulfill my love of teaching as my "side hustle". Everyone begins somewhere and the journey they have been taking up to this point in time may not have been easy. So be giving. Be kind. Give everyone a seat at the table. One tiny gift can change the entire course of someones life.
It’s a pretty good day when your earrings match the magic ✨ But can we talk about this jumpsuit from ASOS for a hot minute? I had been eyeing it forever and it is honestly one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Being a “plus size” girl can make it hard to find clothes that are cute and flatter my curves AND make me feel like a rockstar, but this jumpsuit fits the bill perfectly. And while we’re on the topic of “plus size”...anyone else tired of society telling them (or YOU telling yourself) what they can and can’t wear based on their size, figure, lack of curves, amount of cellulite, etc etc etc? For a few years I wore basically all black and loose clothing all the time because I didn’t want to embrace my “plus size” body and all the extra curves and yadda yadda yadda. Now, don’t get me wrong, I still have body image issues. I still have lots of days where I want to tell myself that I hate my body and I still wear loose clothing to hide my figure. I still feel best in black leggings. But I also rock those white pants in all my “thunder thigh” glory BECAUSE I CAN. Because why SHOULDN’T I? Right?! I hear all the time “I could never wear white pants because my thighs are too big and I’m just not that confident”...girl I’m not confident enough either! But I do it anyways! Or “I could never wear that jumpsuit because I don’t have enough curves”...and to hell with all those statements because you can wear WHATEVER YOU WANT, regardless of your shape and size. Girl my thighs literally bring the thunder and those white pants are dang cute anyways! If you feel like a rockstar and YOU like it, then YOU ROCK IT. I personally feel like a badass in this jumpsuit. I feel like I can conquer the world and anything is possible. My confidence is through the roof in this thing! So wear that orange lipstick. Wear that jumpsuit. Wear that purple eyeshadow. Wear that bun. Wear those crazy shoes. Forget the “rules” and wear whatever makes you feel like the badass that you are. 💪🏼
