This is your chance to read up on the everyday ways I save money. Hopefully you'll be encouraged that saving money isn't boring, but it also doesn't need to be complicated.
This week I even share one non-Frugal things that happened the previous week. #reallife and #realmoney hopefully make for some #encouraging reading. Feel free to share it!

I would love to hear #fivefrugalthings from your own week(or day).
Here's my #frugalfive for today:
1. We stayed home for the day.
2. I made pancakes from scratch for snack and extras for breakfast or other snacks this week.
3. I reused my teabag.
4. We learned to draw a candy cane using @artforkidshub on YouTube. SUCH a fantastic drawing tutorial for kids!
5. I wrote a list on the back of a junk mail envelope.
This adage “isn’t about deprivation; it’s about loving yourself and your life so much that you wouldn’t think of wasting a second. It is also, as we have seen, about loving the planet so much that you want to take care of it. And finally, the about loving future generations so much that you want to leave this earth in better shape than you found it” - Your Money or Your Life 🙌🏽 really enjoying this book! It’s kind of outdated, but the principles still apply... your money = your life energy. How do you want to spend it? And being creatively frugal with our life energy often has the side effect of conversing earth’s life energy 🌱
Too soon?? Nahhhhh 🤣 I put money aside throughout the year for Christmas things and like to pick things up early on so that it doesn’t feel like huge expenses all at once right near Christmas! Anyway the main way I bring the Christmas magic to life with my kids is with #elfontheshelf so I’ve picked up some props for this year and I’m soooooo excited 🎅🏻🎄 do you do elf on the shelf? Are you a Christmas crazy lady like me?

Most of the time I don’t care.
But last week’s podcast episode highlighted some of the advice that can be the most damaging.
This little clip talks about “do work you love and you never work a day in your life.”🙅🏼♀️
