Today's workout was a Band and Bounce session, with alternating rounds of resistance band training and rebounder (mini trampoline) jumps.
I love the flexibility of resistance bands for portability and the variety of ways they can work your whole body. They are easy to find and rather inexpensive, yet can provide great results.
Rebounding is an awesome way to add plyometrics into your training, without stressing your joints. Landing on a rebounder is much less taxing than jumping on to a hard surface. Consistent jumping does get the heart pumping and provides a nice bit of cardio to your workout sessions.

Tonight me and my girlfriends had some fun after our HIIT workout.
Just playing around on the monkey bars. I love progressions and doing crazy things you don’t really see other people doing .🤡.🎪.🐒. #ninja
Whenever doing monkey bar swings get too easy, try doing them while holding something in between your feet. You’ll totally feel the difference.
If that becomes too easy try doing them by adding a pull up every other swing. So many options to make it harder, to progress, to have more fun with it.
Monkey bar swings will work your forearms (grip strength), your lats (as you lift yourself up during each swing to gain momentum), your delts (to stabilize the movement), your core (providing stability as the side to side movements leads to your body twisting).
A lot of muscles are engaged during monkey bar swings and it is a lot harder than people think. But a fun exercise with so many possibilities! And if you ever think about doing an obstacle run, be sure to know that they will put the bars above water so if you miss a swing or can’t hold on anymore you will splash ;) haha #beentheredonethat
