I forgot to post this yesterday, just a PCOS related update. For about the year and a half my period has been irregular. It would always be 2-3 months late, be heavy, and on the first day would always be painful. Prior to this my periods were always normal and didn’t hurt at all.
I never thought I’d be happy about getting my period, but yesterday I was, because it came on day 25 🎉 At first I thought this was actually a bit early, but I have read that a cycle anywhere between 21-35 days is considered normal.
I’m absolutely ecstatic over it because it proves I’m doing something right. After just one month of eating a vegan diet rich in whole foods (with about 5 or 6 cheat days) I have already seen my cycle, skin, weight and state of mind improve. I can’t recommend a vegan diet rich in whole foods enough to anyone! 🌱
