Leg day with some extra glute focused exercises thrown in makes for a good workout.
Started the workout with leg press, and straight leg dumbell deadlifts super setted, couldn't just work the glutes, got the quads and hamstrings fired up too 🤷♀️ Then did some banded glute activator exercises. Then the hack squat machine.
Worked calves with some calf raises on the Smith machine, and wolah, a leg day I almost skipped is done.

Gym workout focused on glutes and hamstrings. These videos might feel a little slow but this is the pace I do these at so that I can really have a good mind muscle connection. Don’t forget to like, comment or save the videos I do so I know what kinds you guys like to see 😄
3-4 sets of each x 10-12 reps
1️⃣ Kettlebell Split Squats w/ Bosu Ball (elevating the back foot)
2️⃣ Staggered Deadlift Variation
3️⃣ Glute Extensions (keep your back curved the entire way up, using only your glutes to pull you up and not your lower back)
4️⃣ Cable Squats
5️⃣ Walking lunges 3x 16 steps
6️⃣ Double Pause Squats •
7️⃣ Banded Clamshells
8️⃣ Banded Glute Kicks
9️⃣ Banded Lateral Walk while Squatting •
If you can walk out of this without shaking you probably didn’t do it right 🤣🤣🤣

This week I've decided to challenge myself, aiming for a 💯 week for my eating and exercise! I know I should always aim for this but in the long run if you never allow for mistakes and all, you'll spend more time beating yourself up about it then actually making any progress with it!👊🏼 So every now and then we can mess up a little, that's human, but this week I aim to be super human 🧝🏼♀️🧜🏼♀️

It might seem obvious to do stuff that you enjoy and brings you happiness, but I co-hosted a "Sleep & Stress" seminar the other day and asked everyone what their hobby was and to put their hands up if they do that hobby, bare minimum, once a week. -
Majority (not all) people put their hand up -
"Twice a week?" -
"Three times a week?"
If you're not doing things you genuinely enjoy on a regular basis, it's no wonder that you sleep like shit, aren't grateful, stressed out of your brain and turn to alcohol and food for comfort! 👎👎 -
So whatever your hobby is, make time for it! Simples! 😊 -
