New low weight this morning for check in down 3pds. My training is intense lately 4am lifting and HIIT and then we will not talk about my evening workouts which is usually the bike or the treadmill. Let me point out that 3pds is not a healthy weight loss and I am not in a calorie deficit I am still at almost 1900 calories and 200G of carbs. The point is you do not have to starve yourself to drop weight its all about consistency and I have struggled alot lately the scale has been going up and down even though I have been on point with my nutrition. Just remember the scale is just a number and we are all human. Now I could go for some pizza or cake. Yes cake! 🍰 @dani61684 feed me.. lol #fitmom#dedicated#shredded#goals❤️
The beginning of the year...well, the end of last year, I set a goal of reading 18 books this year. I was doing fairly well too until our son joined us, and now that I'm starting to get naptime routines down, I'm jumping back in. It's kinda one of the best feelings EVER.
Speaking of best ever. Gah! @emilyley Grace over Perfection has been THE BEST book to jump back in with. I've gotten teary eyed so many times in the first chapter. A million things going on, struggling to be perfect at all of them ALL THE TIME, failing miserably, trying not to beat myself up, so it's like she's talking to me. Thank You GOD for having me chose to read this book right now.
Speaking of great books, what books have moved you recently? I can never have too many on my Amazon wish list.
Week six in training and I’m back to the grind with a “YES” brain mentality! If you want to read more about my journey check out my blog at http://runnermomcoach.com/ or click on the link in my profile.
Are you like an ostrich - and stick your head in the sand when you get overwhelmed and need to avoid circumstances and tough decisions?
I recently read a report from Medibank* that revealed lack of sleep was self-reported as a key contributor to Australians’ rising stress levels in 2017 (44%), with other leading factors including juggling too many things (36%) and pressures at work (39%). The majority of Australians surveyed:
🚫 felt stress impacted their sleep (62%)
🚫 admitted they became irritable with loved ones and colleagues (52%)
🚫 felt reluctant to take part in social activities (36%)
🚫 felt they were unable to be ‘there’ for family members, due to the stress they were experiencing (18%) Those statistics are not to be ignored or messed with.
It's tough when you are stressed as your thinking gets clouded, cortisol levels go through the roof, the ability to make quick or great decisions gets compromised,
However sticking your head in the sand isn't the answer. Avoiding often makes it worse... Last year I worked with a client who was deep in "Ostrich Syndrome" and ignored a property that needed some urgent attention
She was so overwhelmed that she didn't know how to deal with it so didn't.
What happened.... a $1500 bill quickly escalated to $5740 as lawyers were brought in to take her to the tribunal court.
Big lesson.... Expensive.
When I met her she had already received the escalated bill and was really suffering.
She is (and was) a really resourceful, smart and resilient woman however had hit a rough patch and life got on top of her.
It turned out this wasn't the only financial bill she was ignoring and was in a real pickle at nearly $15,500 in various debt. She felt so useless and embarrassed... I didn't have a magic wand to fix it immediately for her.. However what we were able to do together through coaching was untangle the overwhelm she was experiencing and she was able to elevate above this doom and gloom and get creative in her business to generate close to $25k.... Big sigh of relief for her... and a valuable life lesson closed.... It turned out to be the best wake up call for her... Link in bio for my last coaching spot
🙃 “I want to TRY harder to wake up early” ————————————————————————🤦♀️ “I want to lose MORE weight” ———————————————————————— 🌊 “I will workout MORE this week”
These are common goals we all hear being set. Setting Goals, Yes! But wait, what if you’re wasting your time setting goals⁉️ ———————————————————————— 😬 Ouch...nobody likes wasting time! I’m not a fan of S.M.A.R.T. goals because I don’t think they work 100% either but Specific is definitely a strong principle when it comes to setting goals. Be as specific as possible
I am going to workout Monday and Wednesday at 7pm right after I leave work. I am going to do this for the next two weeks. Sunday and Tuesday at 9pm before bed I will set my workout clothes and shoes in my car to make sure I am ready. I will also pack a pre-workout snack that I can eat in my car on the way to the gym. I will re-evaluate my goal in two weeks ———————————————————————— I also dropped some extra goal setting principles in there...comment below if you catch one of them 😜 ————————————————————————✅LIFT LIFE 24/7✅
Day 6 of no workout. 😢
It’s truly amazing how much you miss something that’s as much habit as brushing your teeth!

Coaching is my passion, and it’s hard to believe it 5 years next month since I qualified as a Personal Trainer, Nutritionalist and Life Coach. The best decision I eve made was teaming with an online company. I love the community of like minded people who support each other daily, I love supporting people to reach their health goals, I love the awesome rewards and opportunities that are constantly being handed to me. Most of all, I love the fact I don’t feel like I’m working! I can’t wait to share this opportunity with some lovely ladies this week..... still a chance for you to join in the fun!! https://bit.ly/2k746XF
