Memories are so important. Have you ever taken a moment to sit in silence and dig into your memory? What is the very first thing you remember? I find it so fascinating and a little weird of how much or how little we actually do remember. I have a memory of a goldfish, but the first memory is me at the age of 3 picking up flowers in my parents garden. It was summer, and I remember having my knees scratched and bandaged as I was always a clumsy child and kept on tripping over stuff! (that hasn’t changed a bit) I remember my dad, and how happy he looked explaining all the very important things to know about flowers and gardening as if I was to understand any of it. He would always make me smile. I like closing my eyes and going back to being 3.
Only country in the World where the railway services are worst in Europe yet we pay out the most in fares. Instead of going forward with the times in the UK we are so backward with not only services but our system too. We may as well bring back the horse and cart. Horses won’t break down like our trains lol 😂🐴🐎#goingbackintime#horseandcart#
We had such a fun time today learning how people lived in the 1800’s!
We explored restored homes built in 1705, and the first town school house! School requirements then required that children would first help collect eggs, and make breakfast together, sounds like our mornings! 🧡
We went back in time to the roaring 20's last night to celebrate @julialam 's birthday. Phones were confiscated so no photos for the most part. Reminds me of London's Secret Cinema events ("Back to the Future" and "Star Wars") https://www.secretcinema.org -now those are elaborate! #roaring20s#flappers#speakeasy#speakeasysf#caberet#goingbackintime
