Mark your calendars mamas and mamas-to-be! 🎉 We are celebrating the relaunch of our organization and the beauty of motherhood on September 29 for our inaugural Moms Night Out!
This year’s Moms Night Out will center around moms maintaining their confidence and self esteem post-baby and throughout the varying stages of motherhood.
Mothers ages 18 and older are invited to connect with other #MississippiMoms, let your hair down and learn more about our mission to give Mississippi moms a platform to share their stories and build healthy, positive villages around their children.
This is also a fun opportunity to celebrate an important cause, a portion of the proceeds from each ticket will benefit @girlpowerunlimited! More details coming soon! If interested in partnering on this event, contact @simienmediagroup. 💗
For my 30th birthday, I received a jar of affirmation from my closest friends and hosts of my NOT-So-Surprise birthday party! Randomly I open the jar, when I need a reminder that I am loved and I am worthy of love, to my surprise its exactly what I need to keep going, crush the fears, and silence the noise.
And I to you, I love your “Black Girl Magic”! Keep doing everything that illuminates your smile and brings butterflies to your stomach.
Thank you ALL for coming out and supporting such an amazing event for the community @njcms1 !

Several years ago, I took Turkish cooking classes with the fantastic women of the Raindrop Turkish House. One of my favorite classes featured street food. We puréed tomatoes and onions shoulder to shoulder in a tight kitchen. Others worked on a meat paste.
Then, a woman pulled out a 12x12 flooring tile, freshly purchased from the nearby Lowes. This was her hot stone in America. Dough and a smear of the paste cooked quickly on the hot tile. Rolled up with lettuce, it was like nothing I had ever had before.
Lahm Baajin (Lebanese meat pie) at @aplosjxn is an interpretation of this same street food. This really brought me back. #explorelefleur#goodthingsjxn
When you come to @beaconmakersmarket, you never know what you’ll find— @mallory_kay did this incredible original artwork for #beaconartdrop + @sage_clark77 scooped it up! Thanks to everyone for coming out and celebrating this amazing community of makers!! #electricdagger#goodthingsjxn
Another great @beaconmakersmarket tonight— Thanks to everyone for coming out and to all the makers for setting up. It was cool to host @jxndrawingclub and have so many artists creating + slinging original artwork all in one spot! 🎨🙌🎉 #jxndrawclub#supportlocalartists#goodthingsjxn

“Never Make a Move without Amia!” This time last year we were seeing our very first patient with @turnercarems in our new building found and secured all because of @reallyamia ! We have been very open with what God has done in just this past year with the many testimonies and the impact on the lives of so many in the entire state. As we prepare for completion of Phase 2 with @4everelisha ’s baby @4evercaringms, we couldn’t be more excited! BEFORE I even saw this place, Amia had scoped it out and said, “Turner this is you! Everything you’ve been envisioning you can do it here with treating the whole person!” To see the genuine look in her eyes of jubilance did my soul well. Getting a realtor is like getting a Doctor...yes there are plenty to choose from....many have a baseline knowledge and can get the job done but it’s another thing to get the mission done, be purpose driven, and see the BIG picture! It’s Meaning over Money, it’s Relationship over Revenue! There’s no price you can put on someone who is invested in you first, who is personal, beyond savvy, knows the market in the state very well, with one conversation you know she’s quite experienced and well rounded, did I mention she is a broker as well? Oh, I hadn’t even told you the best part. We didn’t just get a DEAL, she helped us get a STEAL! 4700 sq ft, and helped us save well over $100000 in the process of securing a property. Did I mention she helped me find my first residential property in 2008 and second in 2011? Contact her NOW, not tomorrow if you are interested in buying. Procrastination is the third of time. You may not be ready to buy this month but you need to plan ahead. She will help you through the process. More than a realtor, she’s a friend to the end. Thank you once again Amia Edwards! I’m not making a move without you! #Anniversary#MYRealtor#BestRealtor#GoodThingsJxn#4everCaring#TurnerCare#TreatingTheWholePerson#PurposeDriven
