I am #vibing on this simple living room set up. Tasteful with a bit of a DIY element, that really lifts up the tone of the living area.
The lesson here is that it doesn’t take a whole lot of money and an expensive designer to make your space feel modern and fabulous!
Yesterday we covered off frauds in parapsychology with mediumship. Today we switch to the field of UFOlogy which is also ripe with fraud and hoaxes for attention, monetary gain or a sick thrill contributing to the misinformation agenda.
In November 1987 Ed Walters claimed to have taken a series of photographs of a UFO which were published by the Gulf Breeze Sentinel.
These photos were considered by some at the time to be some of the best photographic evidence of UFOs ever. But right from the beginning, many UFO investigators were skeptical.
In 1990 the new owner of Walters’ old house found a model of a UFO wrapped in old drafting paper in the attic. The model was made out of foam pie plates, cardboard, paper and tinted plastic gel. When confronted with this, Walters claimed that someone had framed him and that the model was planted. He said the drafting papers must have been stolen from his garbage.
Pensacola News Journal reporter Craig Myers was able to duplicate Walters’s UFO photos almost exactly using the model UFO found in the attic of his old house.
Further allegations case forward that Ed Walters had been fooling around with photographic tricks, including double exposures.
Tom Smith came forward and said that Ed Walters had shown him pictures of the UFO and urged him to go forward to the press with them. Smith was able to show investigators exactly how Walters had faked the pictures. Smith also showed investigators how Walters created a depression in the ground where one of the UFOs had supposedly landed. It was done with an upside down trampoline.
As with ghost photographs, it is best to try and take your photographs of unexplained phenomena with 35mm film. This is because the negative of the film is really the only thing experts can examine for its authenticity. Realistically though we are more likely to see a photograph taken from a cellular phone or digital camera in today’s day and age.
We hope to see you tonight for a yummy fundraiser thanks to #Sweetfrog#GulfBreeze! 20% of all sales will be donated back to the #VOAFL Pensacola, Florida program! This donation will assist #Veterans that are homeless or about to become homeless.
