This beauty is part of my Christmas Gift Guide. It's this year's Limited edition mug by #Scheepjes, and represents mindfulness through crafting. Three crafty ladies are depicted on the mug and are sewing, crocheting and knitting. Now @Simysomer was wondering who the ladies on the mug would be?
Meet my crafters Daphne, Didi and Dora. Didi is a twenty-something who sews the quirkiest and cutest outfits on her little sewing machine. It's not the newest model but it's feisty and most importantly, red. Daphne is a geriatric nurse and if she's not tending to her patients she crochets badass cone covers to brighten up the road to her work which is littered with never-ending construction work. Dora is a retired teacher who aces in complex lace knitted shawls. She's drawn to pastel colours because that reminds her of the light outside her classroom in Spring.
While they couldn't be more different, they share a love for all that's crafted and find peace and joy in their labours of love.
Those are my women. How would you name yours?
This is THE most challenging amigurumi project that I have accomplished, my patience was tested that I almost gave up, but thanks to my ever supportive hubby I got to finish this doll 😆
