Monday the 12th of November. A cuddly spider!
It’s about time I show you what I knitted for Halloween ! 🎃 this pattern is #arachnophobiaspider by Revati Poole. I used a standard nylon cheap yarn, held double for the body and fangs. The legs are made by « spool knitting » (if I trust Wikipedia) with pipecleaners inserted inside as you knit. The poor thing has got no eyes yet as I still have to go through my old beads at my parents’ place 😉
It was part of this years’ halloween costume as I secured it to my hair with hairpins! 🕷
#tbt Last year, somehow I managed to knit this muffin his Halloween costume, which he then wore all winter 😂 Back then I thought this year things would get easier and I’d be able to make both of their costumes. No and no 😅 I posted this year’s costumes in my Stories. My MIL saved my sanity by sending the costumes my husband and his sister wore when they were kids. They are so cute!
PS: as soon as my wip list clears, I’ll sit down to write the pattern for this #teddybearjumpsuit
Technically it’s not Halloween anymore, but it tends to bleed over a couple months in our house so of course I’m knitting on my Halloween shawl this morning. I almost finished it yesterday but decided to add a border. I’m excited to see it how it turns out! #halloweenknitting#halloweenallyearlong
