This is the last big piece I’ve listed in my shop. It is made by pure cotton and an extra large olive wood. All my pieces are signed on the back side of the wood.

How is it already Thursday? I still have so much work to try and get done this week. Printing deadlines and shipping deadlines are all fast approaching for NSS and I’m really starting to feel the pressure. #somuchtodosolittletime
Hiiii!! I haven’t done an intro post since I think last fall, and now that spring is well underway and there are a lot of new friends here, it’s a great time to share some things about myself that people new to my account may not know. 🌵When I look at this photo, I can’t believe how long my hair has gotten. A year ago, it was shoulder length, and unintentionally (laziness mainly,) I’ve been “growing it out” ever since. My ombré is natural, caused by many months of being too lazy to get my roots touched up😆 Should I keep it long?
🌿A lot of times people on here ask me if I work since I’m home so much. I do! I’m a college English teacher, and since I only teach part-time, my actual teaching hours are short, and the time I spend at home grading essays and prepping lessons is the bulk of my job.
🌱I married the man I had kissed so many toads for on August 6, 2016, and he is absolutely everything to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without his love and support. I’m one lucky lady. One of the reasons I started this IG account was so that I could have an excuse to show off how talented his craftsmanship skills are!
🍃As of April 26th, I have 5 months left in my twenties! I’m actually really excited. My hubby and I have never been in the same decade, and we’re going to Disneyland!🎉
🌾I don’t consider myself a feminist, but I am a firm believer in sisterhood, even for women like me who don’t have any biological sisters. I’m all about helping over hating, camaraderie over competition, and instagram gives me the platform needed to practice this, which is why I’m posting a photo of myself wearing a hoodie that says “babes unite” in big pink font♥️
Handmade tile lends an organic and beautifully imperfect feel to the guest bath in our Boho cottage. Our collaboration with @forrestmiddelton of #flmceramics, alongside the custom cabinet and countertop by @jdahlwoodworks, brought this room to life and we could not be happier with the final product. This bathroom is perfect for guests with a large group, as it’s separate from the private suites in each of the bedrooms. Click the link in our bio to read more about our collab with Forrest and his incredible work. ⠀
Over spring break I got to visit @jesswhittaker house they’ve been remodeling the past few months. They were brave enough to let me help them design everything & it was SO fun seeing it all come together!✨ #thattiletho#interiordesign#bathroomgoals
When is the spring outdoor weather finally going to roll in to stay?! I’m reminiscing the time I styled this gorgeous outdoor hanging bed. I feel like everyone needs one of these on their patio... and a dog to snuggle up on it with (obviously). I’m already scheming plans to temporarily transform our carport💁🏼♀️
Since having Amelia and moving our “home office” upstairs to our loft, I have gotten quite used to this view. This is the opening to our master bedroom-mentioned two posts back. And yes, that’s a massive pivot door, which basically sold us on the house!
Did you know that we have multiple color options for the linen backing of our mud cloth pillows? Most people go for the ivory linen, but there's also a good amount who choose black instead. This sienna brown pillow design is one where people almost always choose the black. 🖤
Celebrating today with an outdoor painting sesh - got the news I’ve been selected as a new member of the Los Angeles Artist Association #gallery825 🎊🎉🙌💕✨I discovered them way back in the fall while deep in the concussion fog and set my sights on being part of it - so relieved and happy to be recovered enough to have made the submission and am looking forward to the journey ahead! (Enjoy this ink on its journey too!) thanks to everyone who has supported me in this part of the journey especially @enthusecycling @lauracullencohen @erisponsible and @blairkurtzabstract 💕😍🌈
