Last day before leaving beautiful Rome: a cooking class with a Michelin chef! We made and cooked three types of pasta. I really appreciate how simple the ingredients are: flour, egg/water and some time/effort. I will definitely try this at home later! 😍it was absolutely delicious as well! Overall feeling proud of what we made 😆 .
last pic is of the Pantheon which we passed by on the way to the cooking class. Too bad we didn't have time to go in 🙈 this was built by roman emperor Hadrian, who I mentioned in my previous post, who designed the dome shape for buildings when he was a child and realised it when he grew up. The pantheon is really well preserved, especially considering it dates back to the second century! .
Here's a quick crash course in Italian language: An i on the end of a word indicates that it's plural, while an o or an a indicates that it's singular. So, gnocco, is the singular for gnocchi, and raviolo is the singular for ravioli. The word for an individual piece of spaghetti? Spaghetto! ⠀
