💧I've been drinking @fijiwater since May for my sensitive bladder. The tap water in my pipes registered an acidic 5.5PH on my PH strip test and tastes slightly off and sweet. Fiji Water was closer to neutral. I tested many brands of water bottles and lots were acidic which could flare our bladders! I tried to filter my water but it's still acidic. Some ICers recommended we drink from natural spring water sources and not from filters that create the water to be artificially alkaline. I'll go back to filtered tap water when my bladder is stronger.
Natural spring water from Fiji Islands
Fluoride ion 0.24 PPM
Dissolved mineral salts 222 PPM
26 was so bittersweet for me. I got to travel to some pretty incredible places and see some amazing sights. I was on a high, but quickly came crashing down onto the roughest and sharpest rocks. I truly, honestly didn’t know how I would ever recover. But as it does, time worked its magic. The universe had my back. It gave me what I needed when I needed it (before I even knew I needed it). The right people came into my life - or BACK into my life. My tribe grew and strengthened. I learned to trust myself, learned to be okay with not being okay, learned to sit in uncomfortableness. I learned how to NOT numb the pain, but to instead embrace it, experience it, and appreciate it. I learned about myself more than I thought I ever could. And I’m still learning. And it’s been the best lesson.
So on this first day of my 27th year, I am SO grateful for where life has taken me. There are still some difficult days, but I now know that the universe is my best friend. That I will be taken care of. That I can trust the process, and that everything will be okay.
Happy birthday to me! I earned the hell out of this one! ✨🍍♥️

YO! Whether you’re coming off a weekend where you ate like sh!t and drank more than you planned, or if you’re 10 days into a pasta eating marathon (cough cough human in the above photo), the hard work you’ve been putting into your body these past few months is NOT going anywhere. You’re still living in it, and tomorrow is a new day and week to start fresh and nourish that shit. That said, not even a Trevi Fountain wish is gonna take care of that for you so put your mind to it and work hard this week. #hardworktrumpscheatdays#mondaymotivation#dontwishforit#WORKFORIT#smilinbigbecauseTHEITALIANPOLICECANTSTOPME
Ever heard the old saying: "You are what you eat...." Nope 🙅🏼, more like "You are what you ABSORB..." Guess where nearly 90% of your nutrient absorption takes place??? 🤔
Bet you don't know what I'm going to say...YOUR GUT. (I know you're shocked 😉). "You mean, more than 70% of my immune system, more than 80% of my serotonin production, and almost 90% of my nutrient absorption takes place there???" YES. It's KIND OF a BIG deal.
SO...if you start to make healthy food changes, but don't repair an unhealthy gut (which takes TIME friends, no quick fixes here), your body is STILL not able to effectively absorb nutrients that are vital to improving how your body functions, and you STILL won't be reaping all the health benefits... HOW do you improve that?? Repair your gut.
HOW do you do THAT?? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Start with 3 proven effective supplements to do just that:
✅ probiotics ✅ digestive enzymes
And, I've got an unparalleled probiotic that knocks out those first 2 for you. 👊🏼
Students in the Thursday junior class continued their public speaking coaching with interpretive reading and interview training.
'Certificate of Effort' awards were presented to:
👉Jack F, for trying hard in his interpretive reading.
👉Marisa, for also trying hard in her interpretive reading.
Well done Jack and Marisa! 🙌
My head was pounding most of the day and for some reason I forgot all about this oil blend here.
As soon as hubby reminded me to “find a potion to help” I saw this on the shelf and immediately rubbed some on my temples, forehead and back of the neck. I also put a drop in the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together, cupped them over my nose and took 3 big deep breaths.
So grateful for these little bottles of goodness ;)
Monday leftovers mash up for lunch! We’re about to head off on our fortnightly grocery shop so I’m using up all those bits and pieces in the fridge. I’ve got capsicum, tomato and onion that was fried from yesterday’s lunch as well as half a lentil patty, some cooked quinoa from the other night, and a few pieces on bak choy. I stir fried them with a little tamari and garlic 👊
