So, once there was an old and mighty tree, a Banyan, that stood it's ground and was the strongest and sturdiest tree in the forest. He was old and rigid in his ways. Very close to the Banyan, grew up a feeble little tree, not very strong and could be snapped into half with average force.
One day, a massive storm loomed in. It brought with it thunderous weather. The Banyan stood it's ground, taking all the pressure head on. As the storm got intense, the Banyan started feeling his roots loosen grip. By the time the storm passed, the tree had been completely uprooted.
Whatever happened to the little feeble tree? Well, it moved in the direction of the wind, as the wind got stronger, the tree's dance got faster. So much so, by the time the storm passed, the little tree stood it's ground.
It isn't necessary to be stuck in what one believes to be true, as time passes, perspectives need to evolve. Learn to dance in the direction of the winds.
