Another day, another decision to make... The mailman already has a favorite... What's yours?
Still undecided if the door will stay yellow, but for now I like the pop of color.
Meet my handsome husband ... and have him build something for you. 😉💗
Meet the Builder (part 1) :
Hey there! My name is Kirk McDonald. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, @_chelsea_mcdonald_ for 11 years. We have 2 little girls, 6 & 3.
Pastoring a church, is my full time gig. Woodworking is something I do part time with my brother and dad. I love being in the barn (our workshop), working with my hands, and smelling the sawdust.
Woodworking has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Growing up with my dad doing construction and being on job sites with him set the bar.
Did I miss anything? Feel free to ask!
the process is confusing...
Yep we agree. From who to begin with, plans, drawing, builder, designer, architect, to what they do... the process can be overwhelming ...
but we can draw you a roadmap, show you the path, and if you’d rather just get on doing what you do best, we can organise it all behind the scenes on your behalf ...
we don’t believe in diving in blind folded. We think you should be able to dip your toes in the water, gather some ideas, some rough costs, and then sit back and make an informed decision. That’s why we created CONCEPT, it’s a one off service, that gives you access to all of our ideas and expertise, we can work on the road map and then decide whether you want to take the reigns or let us take it off your hands so all you have to do is come home at the end ... want more info about our concept consults in the profile link ☝🏻

So some of you may or may not know but back in May when we announced we were moving it wasnt to Newark. The sale of the house we originally were looking to move to fell through. We had an offer accepted on another house and were 4 months waiting on the completion of our own house sale. Days before we were to get keys to our "NEW HOUSE" things got messy. LONG STORY SHORT - our house had to go back on the market disrupting the whole mortgage process for the house we originally fell in love with. We were heartbroken 💔 It was a 1950s project. Complete opposite to Newark. Totally inhabital. New roof, windows, insulation, brickwork, driveway... everything had to be done before we even considered working on the interior. The moral of this story is that everyone told us "it wasnt meant to be"... "something better will come up"... it took alot for us believe them. But they were right. So here we are almost a whole year after putting our house up for sale... in our happily ever after bubble called Newark 🖤.
