Story time: about a month ago Eliza fell while I was riding her. We were both fine but I hit the ground really hard on my right rib cage. Before that happened I had been experiencing a very sharp pain in my right lung for a few months. After we fell the pain went away. Fast forward to today, just got my CT scan back and it shows resolved mucus plugs on the exact spot I landed! Ha extreme airway clearance at its finest!

Doing a little bit of Liberty lately. She reacts well. Luckily she sticks with me. I found out what her horsenality is! She is a Rightbrain Extrovert. I wasn't sure because she is always so calm and relaxed but that is because of her age. Also she is not like Lies at all. That's a good thing because than I can do the auditions with her to. But I haven't decided if I'm going to do that yet. First she has to be okay again. Second I have to get a ParelliSavvy account 😬. And third if I'm going to do the audition I think that I have the easiest RBE you can get I think. I'm not sure if that is fair or something. . .
What have I done to deserve this beautiful soul? ✨ Wow how she amazes me, each and every day! Thank god we didn’t listen to the veterinary who told us to put her down three years ago!.... His comment was that she would never be able to be ridden and be comfortable ever again, her zest of life would never be the same again and she would live a life in constant pain. I couldn’t believe why he told us, I was absolutely heartbroken. She was so happy and full of life, even though the injuries in her legs stopped her from being ridden, she showed me that a horse is so much more than just a ridinghorse. We wanted to give her one last chance! I just couldn’t think of putting down a horse who was so happy with just living. We gave her weeks, months and even years, and now ... Just look at her now ✨ She has transformed, and is just glowing! We see no sign of the injuries in her legs, and once she starts running nothing can stop her (Except my reins and her not being in the best physical condition due to lack of training these past years lol) But she’s back on track like she never left the field, she’s a wonder to work with and as long as she benefits from it we will keep her moving ❤️ -
