For Father’s Day, a friend and I both gifted our husband/partner a voucher to BREW THEIR OWN BEER. 🍻 Last weekend, we sent them off to @brewsbrothersmicrobrewery at Woollongabba and they had the BEST time.
They got to sample a bunch of brews & decide which one they’d like to try making for themselves, they were then able to make their own!! They go back in a few weeks to bottle their brew...and will bring home around 50L of beer....each!! 🍻 Awesome gift idea, a great day out with friends or daytime date for couples even 👫 Massive brownie points over here 🙌🏼❤️😇
Love the interior and food spread at @lamericano_cafe . Brings back so many memories of my honeymoon in Italy last year. The food couldn’t get anymore authentic, a must try is the Caprese Salad & cold brew coffee. 🇮🇹☺️
Even though it was a wet grey day a few of us hardy souls still made it out to Brisbane Open House over the weekend. Here's All Saints Church. Whilst it looks Catholic it isn't run by the Catholics. There is a lot to look at in this church which is a great contrast to the Spartan modern Lutheran Church across the street. However, both of these churches get along and get together for Palm Sunday and speak at each other's services. The last picture in this post is worth something like $100k even though it's quite grim as it's a William Bustard. I loved the varying styles of the stained glass windows. You could almost pick the age of the window by how bright it muted the colours were and by the style of face. Some of the most beautiful colours like the purple were from the 1920s on. Another lovely building to get a peek into. #littlemissbrisbane#allsaintschurch#highchurch#bneopenhouse
