A walk to remember:
Art is a language to communicate and it has power to inspire the audience and to educate. And if this art comes on street, it's like icing on cake and becomes even more powerful to impact positively on the city and masses.
Street art in lodhi colony of delhi is also a try to make a pitch for art communicable to masses. These wall paintings are masterpiece. Every painting show a different perspective of life and tells the complete story itself.
One of them shows the diversity of india and inspire to communicate effectively by portraying birds, another one reads a poem. One shows the omniform of lord vishnu, another one intercepts the concept of life and birth.
In this picture, the artist portrayed jhansi ki rani lakshmi bai.
And above all, these street art make this space more vibrant, attractive and interactive for the people living here.
As the news of devastating floods in Kerala lingers, I can't help but think of the amazing time we spent traversing 'God's Own Country' in 2015.
Rarely are such gorgeous hills with hypnotic green tea estates and majestic beaches with lighthouses that have romance written all over, packed so close to each other. Throw in the the absolute magic that are the laid back vibes of the backwaters, and the wildlife that abounds its thick forests, and you have a vacation you will remember fondly for life.
Sadly many of these wonderful places and their residents are lying ravaged by floods and incessant rains. Hundreds are dead and thousands have been rendered homeless.
