Was macht man während der „Mittagspause“ wenn man in der Nacht arbeiten muss? Genau, man geht joggen. Nach langer Zeit konnte ich wieder am Rhein lang laufen und es war herrlich!
Die Temperaturen waren angenehm, die Laufwege waren relativ frei und es gab jede Menge Proteine in Form von Mücken 😄.
Jetzt gehe ich mit vollem Bauch ins Bett. Gute Nacht!
8 kms run before kids woke up this morning with 3 x (5' z3- 5'z1). I need those speed workouts to run out all my angerness and fears and to shut my mind up. Warning: #realtalk. It's been 56 days since a fire woke us up in the middle of the night and burnt half of our house including our 2 kids bedrooms. Aside of all the insurance and rebuilding stress, the worst is the anxiety I have to deal with. Some days are good but sometimes, because of a noise, a smell or something I see I get hit by memories and I am having anxiety crisis. In every place I go I am looking for fire extinguisher and fire exit. But I have to overcome my own fear to comfort my kids who are also dealing with fears especially before going to bed. We are helped by doctors who gave us some breathing routines or technics to calm down. But going on training and showing up every day is the best way I know to go through this, to heal my mind and to create a new normal. If you ever wonder why people run, sometimes the answer that if they don't , they will fall.
