So excited to share this, Motivated from the response to my morning batch, I am starting a new evening Hatha Yoga batch.
For all of you who have no idea what Yoga (let alone Hatha Yoga) is, we've got 2 free trial classes you can attend before you decide to register. Personally for me one drop-in class is never enough.
All details on the poster. If you have any other questions you can reply on this post.
It doesn't happen overnight. It takes consistent work over a period of time to see those gains. Bakasana was my first arm balance and it took me a bit to find straight arms hugging the knees into the outer arms and really squeezing the navel in towards the spine. The picture to the left in 2014 probably was my first straight arm Bak I held beyond a split second. You can see the struggle in the face and butt lift, but it happened. I am grateful for that first take off which is how I eventually landed this fun head down variation of Bak yesterday. Keep those oldies because one day like today you'll appreciate sharing where you started to truly appreciate where you are stand today. Eyes don't lie. I see my strength. I see my butt lift higher. I see and know a sense of ease in the lift. I see and feel progress.
Posting for newbies who are starting their practice so you're not discouraged with visuals you SEE on social media. Stick with it! Students who see my practice as it is today don't realize I, we all had a "start". So whatever you want in your practice, try, work on it, take a picture for your starting point and then let go of expectations trusting the process. It happens when the time is right! ..
I love progress!
