I don’t know if anyone else loves Plain Chachalacas as much as I do. When I first went to the Rio Grande Valley I only saw one and I felt as if I had saw something super rare. Fast forward a few weeks later to when I was working there and I had a flock of ~70 and can’t get enough of them. They’re full of personality and entertaining to watch. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks and see them again!
