After our first Denny’s breakfast (Denny’s is the best), we realised we had to alter our initial plan and cut out White Sands National Monument. I’m sure it will still be there next time. Joshua Tree National Park was for me a first. It did not disappoint, however it did not overdo itself either. Just as expected.
Probably I did something wrong with my camera here as the autofocus suddenly gave up. Thank god my buddy had the same camera so we checked each other’s settings (sounds nasty) and fixed the problem. Nothing more annoying than when your weapon of choice is malfunctioning. I’m 90% sure I was to blame, so let’s forget about it.
Another unexpected phenomenon; the connecting road (North-South) through Joshua Tree NP was closed, one way only. You can’t always get what you want.
Thank you to our veterans, for all they have risked and sacrificed. Thank you to our firemen and all personnel who are fighting so bravely to keep California from burning down. Today and everyday we appreciate that we get to live in this amazing state, and that we have the luxury of this view and the air we breathe #californialove • please consider donating to support fire relief efforts and the Los Angeles Fire Department at
Today we appreciate veterans and all they sacrifice, all the firemen, personnel and volunteers risking their lives fighting these fires, and every breath of clean air we are lucky enough to take out here. #californialove • this print is by @3fishstudios and all proceeds of this set go to relief efforts
