There is usually a reluctance within each of us to take a step back and evaluate our own behaviours.
If you have a goal that you're working towards and you're not yet there, maybe it's worth taking some time to ask this question .. 'what am I doing wrong?'. The idea is not to beat ourselves up or be to harsh on ourselves. Ask this question but come from a place of objectivity. Do not let your negative emotions take over.
When you know what you're doing wrong, look at how you can change that behaviour to bring you closer to your goal.
