Olivia and I did a little exploring while we were in Stillwater last weekend and one of the highlights was climbing the historic Main Street Steps to get a peek at this beautiful view of the St. Croix River. After we got home I read online that there are actually five sets of historic steps in Stillwater. Definitely need to go back soon so we can climb the rest of the historic steps which I can only imagine will lead us to even more beautiful scenic views. ☀️🍁🍂 #stillwater#ilovefall#freshair#beautyallaround#sunshine
Celebrating others success✨
Let me tell you now - celebrating others success will NEVER dampen yours! ✨ Life is hard and work can be even harder so why treat it like a competition? I love cheering on others in our community when they hit milestones and goals! I truly enjoy seeing others get promoted or start a new side hustle. I can tell you right now I’ve never EVER regretted cheering on one of my friends! Today I challenge you to celebrate others success no matter what it is.✨
“Queens support Queens” 👑
I have been trying to think of something motivational or uplifting to share with you guys, but the truth is, my heart is aching for a friend 💔, and I had quite a few #momfails yesterday. The steak we were supposed to have for dinner last night was left out for far too long so I had to improvise with leftover pizza. I yelled at the boys. I walked away from my nine-year old who was giving major attitude. But, this is life. And this is what I’ve got for you:
Today’s a new day and God is still good. It’s a new chance to be better than we were yesterday because “His mercies are new each morning.” ☀️💗
A wise friend shared this with me. 🙏❤️
It’s crazy that even after almost 50 years on this earth I still have to remind myself to accept myself. Flaws, judgement, fear, disappoint. Everyday. ❤️The difference is that now after 50 years I take steps to change.
Always love who you are. Don't allow your experiences with people, places or things cause you to doubt your worthiness. You deserve everything you desire and the driving force within will ensure that you receive it. Keep going and give yourself some grace.
🌟 You are a shining star!
Be the person you want to attract. ✨
Don’t let circumstances or a person dim your glow, SHINE ON! Bright light can and will illuminate all darkness!
People may try to attack you. Don’t let their insecurities weigh you down. ✨
You ARE beautiful inside and outside! Don’t be fooled -for a second -by the words or actions of another... you are guided by the light, stay the course! Persevere on and keep moving forward🌟
💕YOU ARE WORTHY💕
"Just living is not enough... One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower."
Sometimes we just need to stop what we're doing, relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer. ☀
Do you BELIEVE God?
Hebrews 11:31 “By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with the those who were disobedient [or unbelieving].”
Have you ever connected disbelief and disobedience? I hadn’t until this morning. How true is it though? When we BELIEVE GOD (not just believe in God), we make different decisions. When we BELIEVE HIS Word, HIS promises, HIS timing, HIS way, HIS love, HIS truth, HIS sovereignty…it drives and nourishes our obedience.
When we DON’T believe Him, then we find ourselves taking matters into our own hands, striving instead of surrendering, falling into sin, making our own idols, and growing in disobedience. Need proof? Just look at the entire journey of the Israelites in the old testament. My life is proof too.
Yesterday was Sabbath for me. It has been a LONG time since I have taken a full day to sit longer with Jesus, to separate myself completely from my phone, to unplug completely from all business activities, and to be fully present with family and friends. I needed to BELIEVE God when He says that He can and will sustain all things (Hebrews 1:3). That He holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). That God never fails (Joshua 21:45).
I felt God so strongly yesterday and am continuing to this morning. He is with me, and He is with you. It’s been a long time since I have really looked for Him that intently and I certainly don’t want to just be doing that on Sabbath days. I firmly believe that Sabbath influences the other 6 days of the week too. I pray this morning that you would genuinely confront yourself and ask yourself that question “Do I actually believe what God is saying?” If the answer is yes, your choices SHOULD look different from the world.
🌿Don’t you just love quality, handmade stuff! 🌿
🌿I’m totally crushing on my custom made, personalised leather keychain from the very talented @tashmatic! 🌿
It’s absolutely perfect!!
🌿I have a thing for makers and their beautiful designs. Love, love, love handmade 😍Highly recommend checking this babe out! Pop over to her insta page or Etsy store and drool over her leather goods 😍🌿
🌿It’s so cool ‘cause I have one of those uncommon names that you never find on anything, anywhere so this is pretty spesh🌿
🌿People always spell my name Asher (nope sorry that’s not my name...and it means something different too). My name is Indian and it means “hope” and “beautiful flower”. I think names are important and I love finding out what they mean🌿
🌿What does yours mean, I’d love to know ? 🌿
Big sisters homework assignment every day is to read for 15 minutes, which is never a problem. Around here there’s always someone who wants her to read to them, sometimes a lot of someone’s. Every night before she goes to sleep her little sister, who is supposed to be fast asleep already, climbs into bed with her and asks ‘what are you reading to me tonight?’ 🧡
REPOST! ✨ Big brother, little brother ♥️
I shared this image yesterday with a much different post, but I deleted it (if you're wondering what the heck I'm talking about, watch my ig stories 😂). ANYWAYS, here we go for round 2! Haha! 😜 Have you ever felt like your life is one big carnival ride + you find yourself lacking the motivation you need to get off + move on to bigger and better things? Well...on chelliepete.com (LINK IN PROFILE) I'm sharing 5 simple ways you can stay motivated to get shiz done! 💃🏼 As a working mom, I know what I'm talking about. I have used these 5 steps regularly myself, + they always help me get my butt into gear when I would rather chill in the tub with a giant bag of Sour Patch Kids instead. 🤦🏼♀️ Seriously, the struggle is so real! Haha! If this is you too, then check out my post A-S-A-P because it's a total game changer. Promise 😘
today marks one day since I packed up my little car and drove 1,1836 miles to a little town in Washington state.
@kristin_wall and I were talking how all that has happened this year on the way to Costco to grab groceries for our fifth workshop happening this week. It really has been the most amazing year and my heart is just so full when I think about all Jesus has done. I’ve found a second family (Wall fam, I love you so much. thank you for accepting me as one of your own. and for giving me an appreciation for basketball and jeopardy. 💁🏼♀️) I’ve had the privilege of being apart of an annual retreat and four workshops with over fifty attendees. Each of these girls I’ve met have showed me more of the love of Jesus and the beauty of deep community. Every day I get to work for a nonprofit (@delightandbe) that has changed my heart in ways I never anticipated. Monday nights have become my favorite nights of the week because of the sweet girls I get to spend it with. this season has been one of rest and intentionally seeking, of wrestling and being deeply rooted.
and I AM JUST SO GRATEFUL.
this year has been such a testimony that simply saying yes holds a world of abundance. that He always meets us where we are. and that He’s the God of every season, writing my story, and what He has started, He will complete. 🍂
When I first started coaching I began listening to audibles and reading personal development books. Growing in personal development is one of the coaching vital behaviors and that was right up my alley so it was easy to dive right in. One of my all time favorite Motivational speakers and authors has always been Brendon Burchard. I love his books, high energy, sage wisdom and commitment to bringing the joy to every encounter.
I created my first vision board in 2015, it was more like a list than a board. I printed out a quote from Brendon and I wrote attend High Performance Academy (HPA). The next year I did the same. Although I didn’t achieve those goals at the time, my vision, my desire and my purpose to attend a High Performance Academy event never changed.
But that never deterred me, it caused me to take a step back and make a few adjustments to align more with my goals. That’s what happens when you live with purpose and intention. You make adjustments as you go. You figure out what works, what doesn’t, you lean in, figure it out and adjust accordingly.
At the end of last year I hosted a vision board party for a group of coaches on our larger team. My vision board again included HPA for me and my beloved. And it also included my success partner Natalie and her husband Alberto. When the Spring HPA was announced we looked into it and there was a conflict in her schedule so we looked ahead to the fall session and started making our plans as soon as it became available. And here I am in Arizona putting the finishing touches on our newsletter as we await the arrival of Natalie and Alberto and the start of the event.
I can’t wait to see what this high performance leadership training has in store for all of us, individually, as couples, our business, families, relationships and for those we serve.
